Two months after the zombie apocalypse began, Badger City lay in ruins, a desolate landscape tainted by the stench of death. The once bustling streets were now haunted by the hurried footsteps of a group of fifty survivors and countless undead, shambling, skittering and chasing the survivors.
Their faces showed only fear and desperation. They fled from the south, from the horrific monsters, neither dead nor living. Only to chase a simple rumour that began spreading a month earlier.
A haven in the north, a glimmer of hope in the otherwise bleak world.
"Hurry! We need to keep going!"
"Vega... We are at our limits. Those bastards are getting closer!"
Two males shouted, with one holding a large metal bar, swinging it through the air, creating a loud howl to crush the body of a Stage Two Seeker.
"Ugh... Vega!"
