Supreme Ruler: Control Is Greater Than Power!

My life? Many people see me as the most fortunate person existing. Maybe it was due to the power I wield, or what I had in my possession. But I found it hilarious; how I, myself, find my life worthless, every and anything I cared about getting burned in the flames of my ever-flowing energy. I don't mean it literally, more like… a metaphor, I guess. The world always opposed every and anything I stood for. I'm sure if you stood against me you would end up victorious. Anyway, off with my sorrows. To make everything interesting, I'll have to show you a clearer view of the world I live in.  Here it is; the story I so much wanted to share with you… all of you… *** In Archon, the union of a demon and angel was considered sacrilege to all its inhabitants—Apart from this glaring hatred for the union, any offspring from the union would die a miserable death. Stiles, a Nephalem, birthed from the union of a demon and angel had no choice but to face this challenge head-on, his parent's life becoming the payment for his survival. Stiles, filled with anger, tried to end his life but failed with every attempt.  Embarking on a journey to end his miserable life, he came in contact with a fortress that will change his life, turning him from a depressed boy into a Ruler—one that will reign over the land of Archon. ______________ Good day, ladies/gentlemen.  I've not done much writing, but I hope you would check my work out and give feedback. Wish For Death.

Stiles POV

As long as I could recall, I always had health issues that I classified as episodes. Even my surroundings were not spared from this ailment of mine.

Though Mom came up with a temporary remedy. But to administer it, she needed to come up close which caused her pain.

I had tried to reason with her. If she could just hand the drugs to me with lessons on how to administer them, then things won't be so difficult.

But as always, she turned me down. Obsessed with her definition of love—even Dad could not stand against her.

Despite all her flaws, I still loved her and trusted she was aiming for a higher goal. After all, things always end on the positive side when we follow her instructions.

Looking at the rings on my hand, I took in deep breaths of air. I tried taking them off, but my attempt was a futile one.

Even the crown was similar, though I could not feel their weight. Maybe gravity did not affect them, or there was no mass.

No need to think of this, Stiles. Mom would surely explain. I can't wait for these guys to be gone.

[Goodbye, Stiles.]

Hearing those words, I felt my throat go dry. Why did I believe her after all the fake promises she made? The happy family was just one of her lies.

[I pray you live a happy life.]

How can I live a happy life?

[Same here, boy.]

That is Dad's voice. Is he in on this, too?

[I would love to see you conquer some ladies. So make me proud.]

"No!!!" I screamed, not wanting to believe whatever I was hearing.

[Just know Mama has always loved you and will continue loving you.]

How can I believe those words, when you are willing to leave me alone?

I tried to fight against the suction force from below, struggling to release that energy that plagued me. But it was futile; that power could not help me—not in my time of need, anyway.

[Meet you at the Meadow]

[Meet you at the Meadow]

Those were the last words I heard as I felt my consciousness fade.

Boom

***

"Arrrgh!" I felt my life flash before my eyes as I rolled on the ground. It felt sandy and hot, but the grasp of the nightmare overpowered my urge to rise.

"Mom?!" I called out, struggling to reach the hands stretched out to me.

"Not now, My Boy. Live on."

"No!"

Immediately I heard those words, I jolted from the ground, surveying my surroundings in horror.

It can't be! I thought, my palms placed on my face. I could feel the temperature of the hot liquid that escaped my eyes—It was hotter than ground sound.

"M-mom! D-dad!" I cried out in a shaky voice, my body not falling behind.

I thought I knew pain, but I was wrong. I didn't know what pain truly was. Even now, I could not fully understand this feeling.

It was like I was butchered and then rejoined to be butchered again. An unending slaughter that affected both my physical and spiritual form.

I can't see any reason to live. Even though my parents said fancy words like, 'live on for us'. How hypocritical.

I tried to bite off my tongue, but nothing changed, I couldn't even feel pain from that action. It seems that won't cut it.

The region I was located in was filled with sand and nothing else in sight. It seems the terrain is also against my goal.

The rings on my fingers were still visible, and so were the crown, the necklace, and the wristbands. My clothes were still on, but there did not have the same characteristics as the other four items.

In this place, killing myself would be impossible. Maybe starving to death would do the trick, or getting dehydrated. There was no telling what would work.

After careful deliberation, I decided to move in any direction, hopefully, I get eaten by a monster or die out of starvation. Either way would end in my victory.

How dare they think sacrificing their lives and telling me cliche stuff is all I need to move on in life? They should pray I don't meet them on the other side.

My thoughts were disorganized, and my main focus was on proving my parents wrong. If they felt dying would save me, then I'll prove them wrong by dying. A foolish way of thinking, indeed.

I moved through the desert landscape, searching for ways to die. No matter how far I walked, I never got tired, I never got hungry, and I never got tasty. The burning sand couldn't hurt my skin, neither could my teeth.

At that moment a sudden realization dawned on me. "I could not die."

No! It's not possible… I thought in trepidation. There must be a way… And I'll find it…

From my readings, I had some information on deserts. It was a landscape of heat, as the record says. A place filled with sand and possibly no water, depending on the desert in question.

There are supposed to be some species living in this kind of habitat. Like the snake, scorpions, and other exotic creatures.

"I never thought I would find you in such a place, My Lord!" A feminine voice came from behind, causing me to jolt in fear.

"Who are you?!" I asked, glaring at the thing before me.

I could not tell her race, but she was something akin to a spirit. She was ethereal, floating a little bit above ground level.

"Hmmm. You don't recognize me?" She inquired in a somewhat dazed tone.

"If I did, would I ask?" I snapped.

Wait! Maybe she could fulfill my wish. Hahahahaha. Never thought I would find such a peculiar being to do it for me.

"The look on your face is creepy, My Lord." She commented. "But I love it!"

Seems I met some fanatical bitch… What am I saying? I don't use such foul words.

"You said I'm your Lord, right?" I asked.

"Yes!"

"Can you do me a favor?"

"Yes!" She replied in bated breaths.

"Kill me." I requested outright with a smile of victory.

"Ohh! My Lord!" She wiggled. "Your wish is my command!"

My body became weightless as she ended her sentence. "I wish you luck."

Wait! Why is she wishing me luck?

Remember, advice are welcome.

And I would appreciate your support.

Thanks~
