WESTERN CONTINENT, WESTERN DESERT EMPIRE

The entire continent was unified many millions of years ago to form the Desert Empire.

The empire was ruled by a single family that had absolute power over the continent.

When it wanted to rain, the rain had to consult the emperor. Should he say no, that would be the end of that. At least this is how it felt like for some of his citizens.

The emperor was not a bad leader by any measure. His people were generally happy living free from poverty and disease. He introduced policies that protected the people and ensured their rights were never violated. This emperor was the current ruler of the mighty Desert Empire. He did not have a public name and neither did any of the previous emperors.
