Rain buried her face in Tyler's chest as he felt the rapid beating of her heart. She had clearly been panicking moments ago after not being able to sense or communicate with Tyler for a full 60 seconds.
After all, he hadn't told anyone he was heading to the white void—a place that did not even exist, or rather, should not exist. The plane of non existence was beyond or outside all known dimensions and universes. Not even Uriel had been able to sense Citrus when she had been reborn there.
Although there were several other circumstances behind that, the truth was even he could not sense anything outside the white void, and to Rain, who had been the only one to maintain direct contact with him, it must have felt as though he had suddenly been erased from existence.
He had even lost his soul connections with his undead creations and Shadow Guards. Even his newly formed connection with Keyrille's soul was forcibly cut off the moment he entered the white void.
