Chapter 4 - Don't Ever Cross My Bottom Line

After witnessing the scene all the students were quiet before anyone could say anything Lux again leap forward by reinforcing his feet with wind magic and just as he appear before the boy who was still struggling on the ground he kicked his face again by reinforcing it with lighting element.

More of the boy's teeth flew out and he spewed blood. As he was going to talk another kick came into his face. Lux keep beating him without allowing him to speak.

The boy's face was swollen like a melon. He was trying to say something but with his broken teeth and swollen face no one can understand his words.

Lux show him no mercy and only shower him with kicks in his face. After some time he stopped.

The nearby students were somewhat scared by his ruthlessness.

The boy who got beaten was a adept 4 star mage yet he was beaten till his face got disfigured.

An erand slave beating adept 4 star mage was unbelievable for those students. They keep staring at the seen with dumbfounded gazes.

Lux was amazed himself as this was his first time using magic. Because of the 'SUPREME MAGUS JOURNEY' and his own study of magic made him comprehend mana more profoundly than others. He can see mana threads spread throughout his body with mana flowing through him endlessly. But unlike others his threads seem to channel magic continuously to him. According to his understanding people can only channel mana through using an incantation but his mana thread allow him to draw mana without an incantation. It was never heard before.

According to Lux understanding this was because of the knowledge he gain from the book.

Also he was able to beat the boy because the boy was not guarded against him and Lux sudden attack surprised him as he was not able use his spell. One must know channeling mana into spell require one to perform an incantation. With Lux sudden attack and his speed he didn't give him a chance to prepare a spell.

He looked at the beaten boy and said with a hint of killing intent in his voice, "Insult me I don't care .Act arrogant I don't care. Flaunt your noble status I don't care but insulting my mother is crossing my bottom line. And whoever cross my bottom line will never leave unscathed. Don't ever cross my bottom line. Whether you are someone with good background or not I wil beat you till your mother will not recognize you. "

He was about to walk away when a voice sounded "Halt!! "

Lux body stopped where he stood as below his feet the ground softened and after his feet submerged into the ground the ground hardened again.

This was a earth element spell - Liquid Ground.

Lux turn his head around to find a young man with spectacle on his face. He has a serious attitude. He wore a white uniform with a bagde on it. The badge symbolizes that he is from the disciplinary hall.

He look at Lux and said, "Fighting without issuing an official challenge is prohibited on the school ground. You must be punished. "

Lux look at the man and said calmly, "He provoked me first so he should be also held responsible".

The man didn't like his attitude and said, " That's not for you to decide".

Lux still calm and said, "Then I will officially challenge you to a battle. "

The man looked at him with disgust and said, "Fighting an errand slave is beneath my status".

" Well you don't have to accept the challenge", as Lux finished speaking his feet which were stuck moved with lighting speed as he throw a kick at the man's abdomen.

The young man was slightly surprised but he responded in time and coat his abdomen with a layer of earth using earth element.

After his kick landed the man took 2 steps back. He was surprised at the force in the kick and also felt lighting element magic mixed in the kick.

He looked at Lux angrily and just as he about to use his magic another voice came and said, "Brian stop!! "

The young man looked at his side to see a woman with black hair coming at them. She was the magic instructor Leita.

She looked at Brian and asked, "What happened? Why are you attacking Lux? "

Before Brian could say anything Lux said, "Sister Leita that man lying their looking like shit provoked me by berating my mother so I taught him a lesson yet this four eyed bastard is taking his side to held me wholly responsible".

Leita couldn't understand what he was saying so Lux told her the whole sequence by exaggerating some of the events making other side look more vicious.

The students listening couldn't believe how the person who beat the boy till he looks like shit is making himself look like the victim.

He also said that the boy was about to use his spell on him so he moved first. He also said that because other students were laughing at him they didn't notice the boy preparing the spell.

After hearing his situation Leita said, "I will take care of this matter you go do your thing".

" But Ms. Leita---, Brian was about to speak something but Leita said, "I told you I will take care so go"

Brian glared at Lux and the latter smirk at him. Seeing this Brian become angry but seeing Leita he left unwillingly.

After he left Leita told others to took the injured boy to the infirmary and left with Lux.

After entering her office Leita asked Lux, "You use magic now ? "

Lux responded with a smile, "I was able to cultivate magic for few weeks . I met a man when I was out eating. He told me that I had potential to cultivate magic so he give me some pointers and allow my star energy to flow into my body. He said since I can cultivate more than one element of magic that's why he teach me after that he teach me some basics and left . He said that him teaching me should not be leaked to others or I will be in trouble".

Leita didn't believe first but after seeing Lux channeling wind and lighting element she was surprised and belived him.

She smiled and said, "I am really happy for you but if you can practice for a few weeks you should have told me"

Lux smiled at her and said, "I want to tell you after becoming adept 2 star mage"

"What? you are adept 2 stage only after few weeks Looks like your talent is good. Since you can practice magic you should find a partner in the academy to study magic with" said Leita smilingly.

Lux said with sigh. "Only the students of the academy can find partners. I am still a slave"

"Here", Leita handed him a pouch. When he opener the pouch inside he found 100 silver coins and 5 gold coins and some copper coins.

" Now you can break your slave contract and can enroll in the academy as a student ", before Lux could say anything Leita continued, " Of course you have to return me the money but that can wait when you have enough money ".

Hearing this Lux felt warmth in his hearth. He accepted the money and said, " Sister Leita Thank You".
