21 Chapter 21 Mortal Wisdom Gu

After finishing up his business in imperial court blessed land, Man Tian left an inheritance for Meng Zhao and gave the Meng tribe rank eight gu immortal a ten year longevity gu he found in the Eighty-Eight True Yang Building.

In total Man Tian had found ninety years worth of longevity gu. Taking away the fifty four years he had spent under wisdom gu and the twenty years he fed to wisdom gu and the ten years he gave to the Meng tribe Man Tian was barely making it even considering he had gained five years and a few months worth of longevity gu.

Taking things as they came was one of the strong points of Man Tian. Since he can't change the present, then he will accept it. It was akin to a phrase that went viral on the internet: "Life is like being raped. If you can't fight it, then you might as well enjoy it." What Man Tian needed was to survive and live his life to the fullest and try to avoid the attention of venerables, heavens will and fang Yuan to the best of his abilities.

The rest of his stay at the imperial court blessed land was quite uneventful and constant as one could expect.

During his stay in the gu world Man Tian had always been running from point A to point B without any rest.

He even had to multitask using his clones. And although having clones help you out sounds fun and even easy that could not be any further from the truth.

Having real clones caused him pain unimaginable by any physical means and using gu to make clones needs him to control them simultaneously.

And quite often Man Tian would find himself at a block in the more advantageous situation and even at a completely wrong direction at worst.

Reaching this point Man Tian had decided to develop the formula for mortal wisdom gu. Although he succeeded there was a few problems that began to arise.

First of all the mortal wisdom gu were mortal and thus less effective overall.

Second of all Clones and thoughts were not very effective since clones would die because of the lifespan issue and Man Tian was not willing to share his lifespan gu with anyone plus thoughts would get destroyed after awhile.

And mortal wisdom gu needed lifespan gu to feed it and considering Man Tian was not willing to share it with himself how could he give it to this pests so he overcame this by simply working them to death.

To be more specific working them to death in a gu house and after they die of hunger simply refine more. The refinement for wisdom gu needed the sacrifice of a lot of humans and since he is not heaven's will who can use the whole world as refinement material using a bit of wisdom from everyone Man Tian simply massacred them.

After awhile of smooth sailing and rethinking about the Reverend Insanity, duke long and the dragonmen Man Tian found a problem.

We all know about Duke Long's Killer Move known as 'Dragonman Extermination Killer Move! The essence of this Killer Move was to basically any Dragonman automatically regardless of their strength and Rank automatically by relying on a birth defect that he had purposefully engineered in their

bodies, whatever that may mean.

Take into account that Duke Long himself was at most a Quasi-Supreme Grandmaster in Transformation Path.

He was not even a Venerable on his Path yet he was able to create a flaw so deeply engraved on their bodies that it was almost impossible to alter, only Fang Yuan thanks to his ridiculously high Attainments in various paths and because he already had forewarning about this issue and was given plenty clues to reverse-engineer was able to counter this strategy.

Imagine how hard would it be if no one, not a single person including Ren Zu's sons knew about this flaw on their bodies and souls?

And consider that Ren Zu himself was more talented than Duke Long. Everyone knows that Ren Zu is a supreme grandmaster in human path and since he had access to the primordial domain he was probably a supreme grandmaster in space path time path and heaven path.

Of course this doesn't necessarily implies that Ren Zu would simply kill all his descendants, perhaps he could create a focused Killer Move that would only kill whoever he chose to which he is more than capable of doing.

In this way he could sacrifice the lower amount of his descendants as possible whilst still destroying all the possible threats to his existence, and if need be, he could still sacrifice more descendants to gain more power.

And based on the information we have, perhaps Venerables themselves would be unable to identify and counter this weakness in the first place.

But if Venerables themselves are unable to endure this Killer Move then who would?

Firstly, any Variant Human would be able to shrug off this kind of Killer Move as they're not human,

Human Path Great-Grandmaster and Quasi-Supreme

Grandmasters could perhaps modify their bodies to

resist this too.

It would also leave certain anomalies such as Spectral Soul.

Perhaps the reason why Spectral Soul modified his Soul so much that he became 'beastly', was simply to modify it so much that the Killer Move loses it's effect.

Although this was not very smart on his part but considering he is a venerable plus wits he is probably watching this behind the scenes controlling the clone to go mad or something.

This would also explain why he doesn't seem to want to acquire a body and why he remains as a specter.

Otherworldly demons would also be immune, albeit only partially.

Yes, their souls would be able to endure it but their bodies would crack and thus, they'd die regardless.

All except for one.

Fang Yuan.

He is a full otherworldly demon in both mind and body.

Someone like Fang Yuan could very likely survive this kind of Killer Move as his body is on essence a Gu, something quite different from a human.

Thereafter, he would be the only human in the whole world that would be able to actually endure Ren Zu's Killer Move.

Though, despite that, I still wonder if other Venerables could also 'delay' this Killer Move in some ways.

For example, Thieving Heaven could use Space Path Killer Moves to attack even while he remains hidden in an alternative dimension.

To be honest, this theory doesn't actually has much proof that justifies it's existence, but it simply feels logical.

Just think about it, even if he didn't wish to kill or destroy humanity to devour it, he'd still make some arrangements so he doesn't get killed by one of them.

After all he doesn't know how much the paths would develop after so long, and if his descendants could truly destroy Fate, something that he failed at, then that must meant that they already surpassed him.

Thus, his only hope to compete would be to simply cheat beforehand, and simply destroy all opposition.
