Taming a spider

In a forest, a white-haired man with hazel eyes could be seen holding a one-handed sword and trying to fight off some goblins.

'Tsk, I never knew goblins were this strong' Alex complained as he quickly stabbed his sword towards a goblin that quickly dodged his attack.

The goblins were about four and we're still all grade 10 monsters but for someone with Alex's stats, it was pretty hard.

Finally, he stabbed the chest of one of the goblins and removed his blade allowing it's body to fall to the floor.

Looking at the message Alex smiled as he turned to the other goblins hoping to win the battle.

Again he stabbed another goblin and it fell to the floor.

Suddenly the two goblins ran away while screaming for their lives as though they had just seen a beast but Alex smiled and swinged his sword to clean the blood on it thinking it was because he had killed two of them that they ran off.

Alex suddenly felt a burning sensation coming from his stomach and then slowly turned his head to meet a large black spider.

'Shit!' He thought inwardly as he moved his right arm which held his sword and attacked the spider with all its might but it didn't even try to dodge.

Looking at the message Alex jammed his teeth together as he left the grip of the spider and resumed his fighting stance.

Looking at the beast I could only frown and hold my sword while thinking of what I could do to win this beast.

My whole being told me that I couldn't win this beast but I knew I had no choice but to win since dying was also not an option.

Using [Intimidate] first I tried to see what skill could work on this beast and it seemed that [Intimidate] wasn't working at all.

I immediately activated the most useful skill and went for an attack that hit the spider and then I hit it again and again but something was wrong it was as if the spider wanted me to strike at it.

[Black spider's interest in you had increased]

Looking at the message I couldn't help but be confused, was I really doing damage to the spider or was it using me as a training doll was the question I asked myself as I hacked and slashed at the spider.

[Seems you're having a rough time]

A voice that I held deep in my heart said to me as I immediately smiled not minding the current situation I was in.

'I thought I would never hear your voice again' I said to her as my tense mind slowly calmed down.

[Fufu~, It seems you have been missing me for a while but I don't think now is the right time to chat you have a serious case on your hand]

Listening to her voice made me battle against the black spider with no fear as I stabbed and slashed it a lot of times but it refused to die.

Looking at this system's message made me more confused as I just kept my distance away from the spider.

Immediately after I received this message the legs of the spider grabbed me and the fangs bit into my stomach draining me of my blood.

Listening to what she said I quickly used [Tame] and directed all my willpower at her.

Upon receiving this notification I exhaled in joy as I then fell to the floor.

Looking at the stats I noticed the personality and I couldn't help but be disappointed.

It seemed that the spider purposely allowed me to hit it because it enjoyed the pain still a win was a win.
