Swaine was drinking rather composedly in the Hotel's attached bar. He was sitting on a stool surrounded by people, sipping at a wine glass in his hand. Many of the people around him, Randolph recognized as his usually groupies. It looked to the young man like he was satisfying his vanity again.

But as he saw Randolph approach, he quickly shooed away all the people near him, making excuses to meet them later.

The young man's approach was quite noticeable, as both his and Archibald's appearance stood out quite a bit. It was even more so when walking together, the butler always three steps behind him.
