He will do everything for the betterment of himself or what ever he feels like. There will be a large harem. Here is why: 1. In a cultivation world where one gains power in order to fulfil their goals, have a large harem is more common and uncommon. It is also one of his goals as I feel that 80% of people if given the chance would take advantage of the world and setting and just live how u wanna live, and in the MC's case that's to have lots of girls. 2. The MC's background. His background is as a loner who has no friends and wants doesn't want to be alone anymore. Hence why he wants a large harem. Its a way of him getting a large amount of people who he can trust within the cultivation world and love and care for him. The mc will be cruel as well, like if slaughtering an entire village of innocents will be more beneficial to him that not then he will have no scruples doing so. After all this is a dog eats dog world, morals have no place until your strong. He will enslave a lot of the girls for his harem, though lots will be for his maids harem. He will make tiers due to wanting to have thousands. Spoilers - His powers are Heavens Database - kind of like library of heavens path but different. An internal world - he can put stuff, things and people in there, including himself. And finally memories of multiple supreme gods - giving him knowledge of almost everything. Finally. This is only my second novel, i personally hate MC's who are illogical and dont take advantage of their status, power and knowledge. So expect a semi OP MC. but I will be making him less OP by making it slow for him to cultivate and put restrictions on his powers, these will be logical restrictions though, not random annoying ones for the sake of making mc not OP. He will be OP, just a logical way that makes sense kidna. Its Op, hard to make sense of it.

Not a Chapter - Progression of the novel (spoilers)

This will contain kinda spoilers, skip if u don't wanna know. its also a little rant/trying to show progression.

I'm just writing this to let people know about the direction of the story. I had one comment saying that its going slow. Of which will agree. I am taking my time, there isn't a need to rush through the story and have every chapter be a time skip with him coming back OP or something. This aint that kind of novel. This is more a slice of life version of a cultivation novel.

Right now in the story, he hasn't got a need to rush through and get strong, he just want to have fun with his new life. And since he is a prince there will be kingdom building at this point in the story. I'm trying to make a logical story, not some rushed piece of shit. So for right now he is going to act like a prince and help his empire and grow his influence. This is the most logical way to progress in the main characters shoes. You can just get super powerful and then go and offend lots of sects and family's and live, well plot armour but I'm trying to avoid stuff like that.

So right now he will be growing his own force, creating a merchant empire and getting prepared for when he goes on his adventure in the future.

If people don't want a logical way of progression then go read a shitty cliché novel, there are plenty. but my plan is a more thought out version of the cliché cultivation trope.

it will be slow for the next few chapters but that's because I cant just do a time skip and be like, well here we are 4 months in the future, he now has thousands of harem members, a successful merchant business that's bigger than an empire, created loads of alchemy pills and other stuff, oh and also he is now a god. I don't want to do that. that just sucks.

I want to show people his thought process and how he has achieved this, not just it appears. I want to show his struggles at trying to monopolise trade, trying to negotiate with hostile people and actually show a bit of growth.

I personally hate clichés, a cliché shows up in a novel like. His girl getting hurt cause she tried to save him or some shit would just piss me off. Or some arrogant young master coming along and steeling his girl, or trashing on him. I HATE that. which is why I'm making my mc in a way where he can predict this, stop this and just shit on the young masters.

If a young master of a family comes up to him and calls him trash n stuff, he aint gunna sit though that. He gunna walk up to him rip his arms off, shatter his cultivation and have his father or his own force destroy the familly. Publiclly. If its an enemy in the shadows, he will fight back in the shadows. You know the logcal thing to do.

yeh rant over, just want people to know the direction of the story in case they are like "WTF why is this so slow, im dropping".
