The process for most is extremely long sometimes taking thousands of years, there is only one known way to make it fast and that is to get God energy from an outside source.

Since Haile already has God energy of his own now in production that entire process didn't exist for him so all that remained is the benefits of compression, which help in controlling his power, managing and stabilizing his power basically what his absorb does automatically when he absorb foreign sources of energy.

It also made his power stronger as it got smoother to use and also because he wasted no energy at all with this, 100% of the energy would be put to use, much better than his concentration magic.
