Ch 45- Apex Power

It was another normal day at Ardonia. People going about their business, Guilds fighting in the dungeons and the usual. What's not normal is what our protagonist is doing today.

Zain Pov.

It's been a few days since the guild war. For some reason we haven't been attacked or any of the sort which is honestly pretty concerning. But i Didn't let that stop me from doing what i Won't. Which is just hunting more monsters making money and getting stronger.

I watched my undead horde lay waste to an entire millipede army. These millipedes are the most dominant monsters in this dungeon I'm in. Since i went solo my mission today is to kill the queen.

Thousands tens of thousands of undead fighting nigh endless amount of millipedes. These nasty monsters are as big as a horse and they have deadly powers such as acid breath, fire breath and poison breath. Even their teeths are coated with deadly poison that can easily kill even expert rank individuals.

My generals of war Saith, the Blood Warlock and the Void Horror all where fighting the elite millipede royal soldiers.

These royals are a hundred times stronger than the normal millipedes.

Saith used her large body as a battering ram. Destroying all in her path. The Blood Warlock who i named Ajax is killing hundreds of millipedes using his blood magic, and the mvp The void horror who i now call Apex is literally using his void magics to decapitate dozens of royals by swallowing their bodies apart.

It was truly a very deadly battle. As for me i was throwing elemental tornados at every chance i got. Each attack of mine tore through the enemy ranks killing thousands at a time. I also sent out abyssal beams here there everytime the millipedes breached our battle line. After all i can't let them flank us.

Death knights gruesomely killing millipedes using their swords and high number advantage. Death mages raining down spell after spell. Hell Bats being used as dive bombers it was total Pandemonium.

"Tell me Saith How close are you to becoming a Grandmaster rank being?"

"I'm not far my lord. I would assume a few more battles before i evolve, then i can challenge even the mighty grand master's."

"Hmm, i like that confidence Saith. Well lets end this battle first."

As i said so i intiated one my most powerfull AOE attack.

"Thunder Storm" Boom. Boom.

The entire area was lit with thunder strikes and all of the millipides were dying rapidly due to the razor sharp tornados. The scene of destruction was terrifying going for miles. 

''No matter how many times i see my own power i am still left at awe by how amazing it is. Almost like a GOD, Maybe i am a God.'' i chuckled to my self as i was having a god complex. then again there are beings that can swat even me like a fly. However i am getting infinitely close to the might of a Supreme.

Maybe after this battle i might just ascend to that rank. I raised my hands and immediately millions upon millions of dead millipedes rose again from the dead. It was a glorious sight. I immediately sent all the millipedes to my pocket death realm. My hell bats informed me of some people coming here, so i need to bounce quick. This world is not ready to see my might yet.

I was back again at Ardonia i was at the guild selling some valuable stuff i found whilst fighting the millipede's. 

"How much for all of this Hank?" i asked the guy at the counter who i regularly made contact with when i wanna sell stuff. 

"Well the quality of these earthen gems are very good so i am willing to play 5 gold per gem. How many do you have?"

"I have about a hundred." i lied i had tens of thousands but i cant tell them that or they will be suspicious of me, which i cant have.

"Okay lucky boy lets do the transaction." annnd i was 500 gold coins richer. Normally masters can earn anywhere from 50 to 60 gold coins a month and grandmaster can earn ten times that so this was quite a small fortune. I could prolly buy a 4th class property with this much money.

I have around 1000 gold coins saved which paired with this i could buy a good 4th class property. Anyways enough about that time to go on some more hunts.

A few days later. 

Congratulations Saith you have stepped on to the realms of Grandmaster's. 

"i am honored to be of your service my lord". goood with this i have more than enough cards on my hand. Now i have three grandmasters of my own and thousands of master ranked evolved undeads. This should be enough to Guarantee my safety.

"I knew i would find you here." Hmm "Zolen what do you require from me?" i questioned at the man who suddenly appeared before me. He is another master rank in the guild quite an average one. 

"Before anything know this i am part of the secret service of Royal Ardonia family, and you are under suspicion for colluding against the royal family." before i could reply he began giving away waves of power belonging to a Supreme. Booom.

Before i knew it was in his Domain. But i wasn't afraid after all i wanted to test how good i was against a supreme this was the perfect chance for that. So with a calm mind i began precasting all my abilities. First off thought lets go with Demonic Transfusion. 

Boom a crimson red aura could be seen around my body as it enlargened in size. I was now 15ft tall my physical strength should be enough to match against that of a supreme and to top it off Elemental resonance. I used the element of light for this fight. At least i will have advantage over speed.
