Ch 42- Mission Part-1

A three storey tall building was the Branch headquarters of the Bright Horizon Guild. The guild Headquarters was tastefully decorated with both medieval and futuristic architecture.

It looked like a fortress from the outside and a resort from the inside. It was the pride and joy of the Bright Horizon Guild. The building is protected by a Energy Shield 24/7 it is also watched over by 5 Grandmasters and 15 master rank beings all times.

The Guild itself is not a weak guild by any means. It is part of the top 30 guilds within Ardonia. It's specific rank is at 27.

It is to note that as large as Ardonia is it has over ten thousand guilds. So being ranked so high among these guilds is no east task.

The guild has more then 1Million members. Most of them stay at other branches while the most important live at the Central Branch. In Ardonia the power rank system for weapons to skills and then to people are quite the same and simple.

Master

Grandmaster

Supreme

These are the ranks of power that are the norms not only in Ardonia but in other lands and Civilizations as well. To me personally the power ranks are very easy to understand since i have played many games so i have some knowledge on stuff like these.

The place I'm going is one of the Branches of Bright Horizon however it is one of the most prominent branches.

"Hey Derek what's up?" i questioned a burly man who looked to be in his thirties.

"Nothing Much Zain just doing the Usual you know. So have you heard about the recent disturbance?" Derek Questioned.

Derek is also a Fellow Master rank individual. He is one of the most oldest among master ranks in Bright Horizon. Although he Doesn't look old he is actually 178 years old.

The higher a person is able to go up in ranks the higher Their lifespans get. It is a fact i learned quite early in Ardonia. Infact Master rank individuals can live upto 400 Years of age. Grandmasters can live upto almost 700 years of age.

As for myself while my power and my race that has been completely changed makes me literally immortal. I mean It's not much of a surprise that Eldritch beings are immortal. So i am not much surprised it only makes me more confident about myself. After all not anyone can boast that they are immortal.

While having these thoughts i answered Derek

"I heard it was something serious as in someone or some other faction attacked few of our own?" i questioned.

"It's more complicated than that. Apparently two of our Masters and ten of our Expert Ranks died. We suspect it has to do something with the Radiant Cross." Derek told me more about the matter.

Radiant Cross is another Guild Similar to our own. Ranked 25 on the overall rankings. They possess a Supreme in their Ranks. Although our guild Master in not a Supreme rumors did say something that he is quite close to that level of power.

I guess they wanted to warn us or maybe they were afraid of the Rise of Bright Horizon. It could be both.

"So what do we have to do with it?" i questioned.

"Well we have been chosen for a Sabotage. We are to group up with two other masters and sabotage the Branch guild of Radiant Cross in our Area." said Derek with a hint of seriousness.

"So basically we want to send them a message that we are not to be messed with?"

"Yes, most likely." said Derek

i guess I'm cool with that.

Soon we met up with the other masters.

To my surprise Morgan was also there.

"Whoa you in this as well?" i questioned him.

"Yes Zain this is my Rank up Task." replied Morgan grimly.

Soon we go to the briefing hall.

"Alright listen up. We chose you guys because you are the figures we believe will have the highest success with this important Task. Your primary mission is to infiltrate and kill as many of their lower ranks as you can. You do not have to worry about their Grandmasters. We have already employed means to keep them busy. However what you do need to watch out for are their Master Ranks. You will be alone in enemy lands with maybe more then a Dozen enemy master ranks.

Do not fear though your teamates are chosen with that in purpose."

After a long briefing we were told about our objective and then we were free to go.

"OK guys no need to be Anxious we can do this remember each of us are elites at our rank and we even have one among us who is very close to Grandmaster Rank."

Derek with his more experienced wisdom noticed our morale and tried to raise it up by talking and getting to know them better. I Didn't take part in the conversation as i was Pretty confident.

I believe my new powers and skill set puts me at the peak of elite Grandmasters. With my army of strong and versatile minions and powerful abilities unless It's a Supreme i highly doubt I'll be in trouble.
