Learning The Bow 1

Vather looked at the young man he would be sparing with as he held his bow tightly in his hands.A young man with black hair whose body was covered in bulging red veins stood in front of Vather.The rock hard muscles on him seems to try and tear out of his uniform revealing the young man to be a person with a strength based bloodline.

Jack slowly took the huge sword from his back as he held it in his right hand.

"Ready, go!"

The young man quickly closed In on Vather as a wooden sword swing down towards him from above.Vather immediately jumped into the air as he opened his leg's wide,the blade passing through the middle as a wave of air blasted out on his balls, making them turn cold.

He hasn't even landed on the ground yet,when he immediately knocked the bow and fired.An arrow tore through the air with speed as the young man placed his sword vertically before him blocking the arrow in the last second.Vather continued firing the arrows but the young man was stronger with the sword than he thought as he saw him successfully knocking the arrows away and advancing towards him.

A sword slashed vertically at Vather's head as he immediately bent his back causing the blade to skim past his face a centimeter from touching him.Vather rapidly like a snake moved behind the young man and fired an arrow at him causing him to immediately shift his head slightly to the side as the arrow passed him by an inch, his cheeks turning slightly red from the airwaves.

The young man quickly rotated as his blade cleaved towards Vather's waist immediately after he fired the arrow but he was quick to retreat successfully avoiding the blade.

"You're a slippery one"Jack said as he looked at the young man before him who possessed incredible reflex as he was able to doge his sword attacks.

Vather was surprised by the sword art of the young man as even though he wasn't using any of his elements and was using as less strength as he could,the young man calmness, steadily advancing while defending made him secretly give a nod to himself.

Unknown to Vather,jack was a young man from a family of Knights as the way of swords has been ingrained in his head from a young age.

"You're strong,too..."

"Let's finish this",the young man said as he moved towards Vather.

'But although you're very good with the sword art and have good strength,you lack speed.'Vather thought to himself as a sword immediately tore through his face but Jack's pupils constricted as he saw it was just an afterimage.

Two arrows moved towards Jack, one from his front and the other from the back as he immediately clamped his leg tightly on the ground and slashed in a circle around him.He saw he was able to avoid the sneak attack as he thought of how the young man was able to move so quick,when an arrow passed by his cheek as a drop of blood slowly rolled down the from the small opening,although it wasn't smooth,and appeared a little rough due to arrow's bluntness.

Shock could be seen present on Jack's face as he never thought the arrow fired would be three instead of two,and he let himself be taken by surprise from his opponent successfully distracting him.He wondered maybe he could have quickly dodged the arrow if he wasn't distracted.

"You're the first I'm my peers to match me in a weapon while being a bow user as well.You have my compliment." he said as he put the weapon back to where he hung it in the first place,his broad back.

A clapping sound emerged from the middle aged woman as she was clearly impressed from the small spar that took place in less than five minutes now.

"That was a beautiful demonstration of a heavy swordmanship.Although,you might need to work on your focus during the fight.While your strength is undoubtable,you have to work on your speed also as your swing is a little too slow.You did well."She said to the young giant as he did a quick bow and went back to his seat.

"As for you"the woman said as she looked towards Vather.

"You're a little strange.It looked as if you've never even hold the bow before but you have the requirements for learning the bow.Your grip strength, flexibility and speed was topnotch making you successfully win the fight.While you have the requirements,you still need to practice very hard so as to familiarize yourself with it.

The woman said a doubting look on her face.But Vather saw something different in the woman's eyes as if she had found herself a gem.

"Well that will be all for the day I look forward to seeing you all next time.The woman said as all the students slowly left the hall.Vather was already moving towards the exit, when his watch beeped as a notification appeared on it

Vather slowly turned back as he saw the middle aged woman giving him a nod.

He slowly walked back into the hall as he sat on the wooden ground till all the students were out.

"What can I do for you, Ma'am".He said as he looked at the middle aged woman in front of him.Her ability to detect that this was the first time he used a bow was already enough to make Vather develop some respect towards her."

"You're a great talent in using a bow although I see you have no experience with it as you couldn't even hold it in the correct grip.Being a bow user myself I thought it will be kind to teach you a trick or too."The middle aged woman said with a smile.

Vather's smile almost widened to his ear as he looked at the woman in front of him.Since his awakening of the True Astral light bloodline,he has always thought of having a bow,as it'll enable him to kill his opponent from a very far distance or he can even cause them some harm while he could also save an almost lost live with a quick attack.A good veteran with the bow was all he needed right now who can take him on the path of the bow as his father did to him with his spear.

He slowly bowed as his bent his head towards the woman with a smile.

"To start with, I'm seargent Alva, that's what you should call me.So what's yours"

"I'm Vather,Vather Celestria"

"Oh, you're that psych.(cough)..I mean the battle king new student"the woman said surprised at the revelation.

"It seems the man isn't really completely blind after all.Come follow me"she said as a small cane appeared magically in her hand as she slammed it down on the ground.A slight turning sounds of machines echoed In the hall as a door appeared in the wall.One won't even know there was something in the wall as it was smoothly painted showing no opening at all.Well until the woman slapped her cane on the floor of course."

She slowly walked into the door,Vather immediately following behind her as the door behind them slammed close with a thud sound.
