"So, it's already time for the annual secondary magus competition." Kent muttered while reading the competition rules.

There are no special restrictions on joining the competition. Any disciple of the Sky Family sect could participate in the competition by paying a silver coin. The high entry fee is to stop the weak ones.

Kent's gaze moved onto the comments below the forum. 90% of the comments revolved around two names.

One is Arul, the handsome young man, the dream boy of girls in the Sky family sect. He was the runner-up in the previous year's competition. That time, he was only a 9th-grade maze. But now he belongs to 10th grade.

There is still one week for the competition. Before that, Kent planned to improve his aura level as much as possible and also master a few advanced skill books.

"I should first choose my weapon. What weapon could I best wield?" Kent fell in a deep thought, as he had never used weapons previously. Thea also didn't let him touch her weapon, as she couldn't afford another one.

Just as he was thinking about visiting 'House Warlock' to buy a weapon, the sky pearl in his hands began vibrating with glowing colors. The image of his aunt, Maria played on the orb. With an exciting face, Kent greeted her.

"Kent, how are your meridians now? Did you still feel any curse?" The middle-aged lady with beautiful looks questioned Kent with familial love. Her affection for Kent is apparent in her words.

"You don't need to worry about me, Aunt. I'm all good now. My Maga level also increased greatly in these two days." Kent replied with a wide grin.

"Hahaha… Good… good. By the way, how did you use your pocket money? I would be disappointed if you didn't spend it by now." The aunt, Maria questioned with a sulking smile.

"I bought a palace, aunty. Also, a wild Kirin pet. They would be ready by tomorrow. Now I'm thinking of buying a weapon. Also I need a favor to ask." Kent replied without hiding any details from her.

"What is it? Do you need more gold?" The lady asked with a curious face.

"Aunty, till now I never practiced any weapon. So, I didn't have any particular weapon in mind. Can you select one weapon for me? I promise you... I will practice diligently and won't disappoint you in the future." Kent replied in a serious tone as he stared at his aunt's face in Sky Orb.

"Hmmhhh…" The lady put on a thinker's pose for a minute. But she had already chosen a weapon before she even contacted Kent. 

"Kent, your father was a great bow master and number one Arch-Magus. No one dared to go against him when he held a bow in his hands. Why don't you try a bow?" The lady asked with great anticipation.

"What? A bow?" Kent fell in a dilemma as no one in Sky Family School uses a bow. Most people use wands, swords, daggers, folding fans, and even some people use maces. But people avoid Bow as it is useless in close-range combat, and almost all competition is held on small grounds in the size of a basketball court.

"But Aunt... isn't bow useless in close combat?" With a confused face, Kent stared at his aunt, waiting for her reply.

"Which idiot thought you, bow is useless in close combat?"

"Later, I will send a few videos on how to use the bow in close combat. Also, I will send a good bow along with a secondary weapon for you. If you really want to ever meet your parents, this is the only way. So, choose your destiny. If you really can't practice a bow, I won't force you. " Lady Maria declared it with a serious face.

As she promised Kent's mother (Lady Clark), she couldn't tell Kent all the details for the time being.

Kent felt a deep meaning in the words of his aunt, Maria. That's why he decided to follow whatever she said for now. "Even if I can't practice bowing, I must thrive and satisfy my aunt." Kent affirmed in a determined tone.

"Thank you, Aunty. I'm also interested in practicing a bow. I hope I won't disappoint you." Kent replied with a serious face.

"That's good. Don't push yourself too hard. You still have a long time to learn." The lady replied with an affectionate smile.

"Kent, my raven will reach you by tonight. Please collect weapons and related skill books from him, and also, I added another 10,000 gold to your card. You should spend them before our next call." Kent's aunt, Maria, replied while caressing the head of Raven, which is ready to depart.

After speaking with Kent for some time, Maria disconnected the call.

Just as Kent finished the call, he received a text message from Stella (The try hard girl from Real estate).

"Sir, please come to our store to sign the property document for Hanging Pearl Palace." The message ended in a single line.

At first, Stella thought of inviting Kent to a private restaurant and show her charm. Due to yesterday's experience, she decided to act like a tough girl to attract his attention.

Kent replied a simple 'Okay' and got up from bed to take a bath. But soon another message popped up suddenly.

It's from Luna. She sent another picture.

"What the hell? Why is she sending me these close up photos?" Kent muttered as he held the sky pearl close to his eyes.
