FRIGGA POV

when I found out that I was pregnant,to say I was surprised would be an understatement,as neither me nor odin ever expected to have a child after having Thor and adopting Loki,and how my anti-fertility magic failed I can't fathom,he truly was a miracle child.

I remember,how when he was born,how cute he looked,how the very night changed into day and light shone upon him as if to welcome him into existence,and most importantly how he just latched onto my breasts and refused to let go no matter what we did,it was truly hilarious and heartwarming how he felt so connected and happy with me,and from then onwards he has just continued on to become a genius child and a great young man,I can't wait to see what life has in store for my child,as I'm sure no matter what he will be great.

ODIN POV

My third child baldur was a surprise no doubt,but a much welcome one,the moment his very birth changed the night into day,I knew he would be special,and I was not wrong,though his physique may be slightly weaker then thors,he outclasses both his brothers when it comes to the sheer amount of magic and divinity he possess,dare I say it more then anyone I've ever seen before.

but potential is not everything,it depends on the person who has it aswell,as can be seen by my first son Thor,but he did not disappoint in that either,the boy was a genius,unlike any before him

he was always better,always smarter and always faster,then kids even twice his age,and the fact of his genius had never been proven more by the fact when he consciously tapped into his divinity and learned how to use it at the mere age of 3,3! such a feat had never been done before In the entire history of asgard!,still as he grew up I noticed and was a little sadend by how he quite obviously was enamored by the fields of magic like his brother and mother and surprisingly even science but not the way of the warrior,as he spent all his time reading books in the library and not even a single hour at the collasuiem like most children at his age do.

when upon his tenth birthday I asked him which weapon he wants to be trained in, he chose a very unique weapon called a guandao,intrigued I asked him why,his reply of "it looks badass" did nothing to increase my hopes of him being a warrior,but I still got him the very best instructor I could, Arne gorm ,a man who's skill in battle even I respect,still I didn't expect much, but then yet again he exceeded my expectations,

he trained harder and for longer then both thor or loki ever did,every exercise,every weight increase Arne gave him he took and did without complaint ,the day I saw him dance with the guandao I thought his potential in the way of war to be as good as hella's, but when a year later I accidentally saw him actually performing the moves of arnes style I realised something terrifying,his potential was no where near hella's....his was far far greater,I spent that day in trouble fretting about what sort of monster we were creating,but that night after a talk and a stern scolding by my wife all my doubts vanished replaced with hope,because as she said, baldur was nothing like hella,who was vain ,selfish and uncaring,he was the most kind and loving child I had ever known,it was not a monster I saw in him from that day onwards,.....no what i saw in him was a KING!

he is a great warrior? buahahahaha ofcourse he his,perhaps he may grow up to be as mighty as me,THE MIGHTY THOR!

LOKI POV

my brother,he is one of the only 2 people I truly call family,when he was born , I thought he was cute and felt affection for him but that was it.but over the years as he grew and started to cling to me,started to beg me to do magic and then marvel at it,to complement me and call me his coolest brother,that affection changed to love,he always saw the good in me,and when people told him otherwise he came to me told me their names and asked to be included in the pranks against them,he truly was named well,baldur ,the most beloved Prince, as he grew up and showed his incredible genius,proving to be great at everything he does,rather then feel.jealous and envious like I usually would,I felt nothing but pride,truly I do love my little brother but

.....perhaps its just a mere foolish whim of mine,but sometimes I feel like unlike how he always looks kind,loving and innocent,my brothers more like me then I would think
