Chapter 15: Convergence Forces
In the previous chapter, Melvin faced off against Ethan and Lui after receiving a threatening letter. Despite Aria's advice to involve the academy authorities, Melvin confronted them alone. The confrontation took a dangerous turn as Ethan and Lui used their supernatural abilities against Melvin. However, Leo intervened, showcasing a powerful roar that affected Ethan and providing Melvin with some assistance. The chapter ended with a tense standoff between the characters.
"Leo unleashed a primal roar, halting Ethan in his tracks as he reverted to his human form."
"Beside Melvin, still sprawled on the ground, paralyzed and blinded, Leo stood in his tiger-humanoid form."

Melvin, astonished: "That roar! Leo? The tiger?"

Leo: "Yes, you remembere it, right? You were the one who told me about it this morning. Thanks to you."

Melvin: "Aha! I didn't think you'd pull it off so soon, bruh."

Leo: "Hehe, actually, I didn't expect it to work. It's the first time I've used this too. 😅"

"With a swift move, Lui attacked Leo from behind with an alpha howl."
Melvin, yelling: "NO, LEO! DON'T LISTEN, IT WILL--...... Ugh, it's too late. You must be already paralyzed by now." *Sigh*
Ethan, jubilant from behind: "Yes, Lui, great wor--........... Huh!?"

Melvin, still blinded: "What's with all the "huh"!?"

Leo: "Eh... I'm not sure, but his howl didn't affect me at all."

Melvin: "WUUUT! HOW! How did you do that? I want to be ineffective too, you know!"

Leo: "HOW WOULD I KNOW! It's the first time it didn't affect me."

Lui, frustrated internally: "Grrrr! I should have known! One of the disadvantages of our howl, it won't work against predators who are higher in the natural order!!"

Leo: "Well, however it happened doesn't matter. Now, I don't have to worry about that anymore. Hehe, I can just use my roar on them now!"

"Leo and Lui engage in an intense battle with claws and fangs, the echoes of their clash reverberating through the streets. Amidst the close-range duel, Leo finds no opportunity to utilize his roar."

Leo, in the midst of the fight: "Dammit! If he keeps attacking, I can't use my roar!! I guess I need to defeat him in hand-to-hand."

"Meanwhile, Melvin, still on the ground, absorbs the sounds of the intense confrontation."
Melvin, contemplating: "Those powerful sounds... they must be locked in a fierce battle. I think Leo can handle him, but what should I do now...!?"
"A sudden realization strikes Melvin."
Melvin, in his thoughts: "Wait! Where is Ryuza? He was with them too! Did he run away!? No, he won't. He said they would be paying him... I need to confirm."
Melvin shouted to Leo, "Hey, Leo! What's the third guy doing?"

Leo, amidst the fight, responded, "Huh? What third guy?! I don't see anyone except Ethan and Lui!"

Melvin thinks: "(Oh... So he disappeared in shadows again!)"
Melvin warned, "Then be careful! There is one vampire who is with them!"

Ryuza's voice: "Too late..."
""Ryuza emerges from shadow right behind leo.""
Ryuza confidently declared, "*Vampire technique: Complete blindness*"
""He swiftly pierced two nails into Leo's neck, disrupting his blood veins.""

"Leo's eyes turned pitch black, and he stopped fighting, gripping his eyes."
"Leo, frustrated, exclaimed, "Aghhh! What in the hell is this!!"

"Seizing the opportunity, Lui launched a powerful blow, making Leo stagger backward."

"Lui exclaimed, "Now the final hit!!"

"Leo still grabbing his eyes, lui rushes towards leo for final blow which might possibly make him unconscious."

"Right before moment of hitting leo suddenly looks towards lui, grabs his neck and..."

*THAMP*
"Leo slammed Lui to the ground."

Lui, slightly hurt, groaned, "Aghhh! Huff* huff* How did he see that!?"

"This moment surprised lui and ryuza again that how leo managed to strike back even though he was blind."
"Meanwhile, Melvin, still unaware of the unfolding events, grew bored."
"Melvin complained, "Ughh, I wanna see what's happening!"
"He sensed a change in his body"
Melvin realized, "Wait a minute! I think... my paralysis is fading away... I can kinda move now... Ughhh aghh."

""He struggled to get back up""
Melvin pondered, "Yes, probably because the one who paralyzed me is no longer seen as a threat! Ughh, even if I'm not paralyzed, I can't do anything! When will this blindness fade!"

""Meanwhile, Leo, after slamming Lui to the ground, shot a furious glance at Ryuza.""

""Ryuza, surprised, questioned, "Wh-what!! How did you-"

Leo interrupted, "So, you are the third guy, huh..."
*ALPHA ROAR*!!!
Without wasting time, Leo launched his roar towards Ryuza, a direct hit that paralyzed him instantly.

Taking advantage of the situation, Lui managed to get up and jumped a little distance away from Leo, ensuring a safe distance.
Lui, angered, scolded, "Ryuza! What the hell was that? You were supposed to blind him!"

Ryuza defended, "But I did blind him! I'm sure of it! But..."
--
Leo chuckled, "Haheh, yeah, he's right. He did blind me for a second. But you forgot something... my ability literally changes my body anatomy to other organisms. You think opening my blood veins is something I can't handle? Well, I'll deal with Ethan and that guy later. First, let me beat the shit out of you!"

Lui, shouting, groaned, "Grr Rwaaaaghhhhhg!"

"Both adversaries rushed towards each other, engaging in close combat, delivering massive attacks with claws and fangs."

Melvkn sang, "Blind laughter, in the dark it gleams~~
Tiny world, no sight, just dreams~
Blind and free, in the mystery~ I can't see~~ Whispers the night. OooUu~ I can't seeee~~~~

Leo shouted: "YOU MORON!! How can you sing in a situation like this?!" (Leo shouted from the midst of the fight)

Melvin responded: "Heheh, sorry, but I don't have anything else to do anyways 😅."

Leo, busy in the fight, exclaimed: "Stop wasting time!!
Five meters to your left-hand side!!"

Melvin, confused, asked: "What? What do you want me to do with tha---.....Ohhh! Ok, got it!" (Melvin soon realizes what Leo was addressing him)
"Unable to see, Melvin raised his hand for safety and started moving to the left side where Leo told him."
Melvin, walking, thought: "Hmmm.. let's see.... maybe somewhere... here." (Eventually, he feels Ryuza lying on the ground paralyzed)
Aha! Found you!

Ryuza, lying down, looked at him and asked: "Ugh, what are you planning to do?"

Melvin, bending down and holding Ryuza by grabbing his collar (although still unable to see), said: "Nothing much.... If you agree easily ofcourse..... Now then, I know you can undo my blindness too, so just DO IT!!"
Ryuza, with cold and calm eyes, replied: "And what made you think I would?"

Melvin explained: "Listen! Neither you nor I have anything personal to fight for! So why not just cooperate?"

Ryuza stated: "You don't! But I do! They won't be paying me otherwise! And I'm really in need of money to get out of my problem!"

Melvin proposed: "Alright! I get it, you're doing this for money! So what if I pay you more than them... Or I can even help you with that problem..? How's that?"

Ryuza hesitated and looked another way in confusion, "Mmm... But..."

"As the commotion continues, both leo and melvin found themselves busy in different situation."
"Will melvin be able to convince ryuza to unblind him? Or will leo be able to defeat lui by himself? Or story will take full unexpected turn?
