Natsumi rushes to Soo-Hwan's side. She bends down on her knees to check on his wounds. His clothes are soaked with his blood. But his face is calm as if he's asleep. Natsumi feels her heart tighten. Even a demon can bleed.

"Why would you do that?" She sucks in the air, feeling like she can't breathe. A large chunk of his shoulder is missing. Is he going to be okay? She's not an expert in a demon's physiology. But the bleeding has stopped. She notices that his flesh and bones are regenerating, though it's a little slow. She's relieved.

Sweepers' piercing screams make Natsumi shudder.

His parents are fighting the sweepers. Fang Aisa has built cages of dark energy. After beating up each sweeper, she is sending them into the cage. 

"You have scary parents." Natsumi sighs, not bothering to look up at the sky. Soo-Hwan is unconscious. His silence is annoying. She prefers to hear him talk.
