Prologue

"Chuck!" Amara calls out, watching a screen with apparent interest.

"Yeah?" Chuck replies, looking over at his sister. What world is she looking at right now that she wants him to check out? He was already watching their favorite one. It was inspired from the move , and needless to say, it's very interesting.

"Lucifer's about to kill the Winchesters again," Amara tells him.

Chuck sighs and joins his sister. Sure enough, Lucifer is about ten seconds away from murdering two of his favorite pets. Chuck grabs the remote control for their world and pauses it just before Lucifer's job can be completed. He looks at the frozen figures, deep in thought. He doesn't really feel like resurrecting them today, but he can't let them die. They make that world interesting. Chuck would hate for his two favorite humans to die.

"Are you going to bring them back this time?" Amara asks him. She knows Chuck is in charge of who lives and who dies. Ever since she was freed and the Winchesters convinced her not to kill her brother, she's been helping him keep watch, but he gets the final say in all things.

"I don't think I'm going to let them die," Chuck replies, an plan slowly formulating in his mind. "Alright, I've got an idea. This world it getting pretty repetitive. Let's fix that."

"What are you thinking?" Amara asks with an interested smirk.

He explains his idea, and Amara agrees immediately. Chuck can't blame her; it's brilliant, if he does say so himself.

"That's a lot of people to bring back, though," Amara warns him. "Are you sure you want to do that?"

Chuck just shrugs. "What could go wrong?"

The answer is clear. Everything can go wrong, and likely will. But hey, it's not like Chuck's in danger, so why not? When one of the boys dies, he'll bring 'em back.
