Chapter 78: Invisible Susan

"Uh?" Robert felt a hot blast of energy heading towards him, furrowed his brows, and immediately counterattacked with a Qi wave.

"Boom!" The Qi wave collided with the fire, causing an explosion that engulfed countless shadow ninjas nearby. The explosion echoed around, causing Jackie Chan, Batman, and Catwoman to dodge awkwardly.

"Is this the kind of destruction a human can cause? I shouldn't have left the house tonight!" Catwoman shrank her neck, murmuring as she watched the explosion, "Bruce, can you handle such an opponent?"

"Who's Bruce?" Batman, maintaining his persona behind the mask, asked with his deep, raspy voice.

"Alright, Mr. Batman, are you confident you can handle him?" Catwoman asked again, casting a glance at Batman.

"Yes, but I need time," Batman replied seriously, looking at Robert floating in mid-air and Johnny holding the dragon talisman at the window.

"No wonder they lured us here, there's another talisman here?" Robert noticed the dragon talisman in Johnny's hand and thought to himself with a hint of satisfaction, "Great, I was getting bored with the snake talisman and these ninjas. The dragon talisman seems much better!"

"Johnny, what's going on? Why can you release fire? Why can he fly?" Susan asked anxiously from behind Johnny.

"I wish I could tell you, but unfortunately, I don't understand it myself..." Johnny said, staring at Robert in mid-air, "I only know it's dangerous now, hide somewhere!"

"Your danger comes from that talisman in your hand. These ninjas are after it. As long as you have the talisman, they will keep chasing you. Let me clear the area first, then we can move somewhere else, okay?" Robert casually killed a few shadow ninjas and smiled at Johnny, "You wouldn't want further damage to your house, right?"

"Clear the area?" Johnny didn't quite grasp what Robert meant. Even though he now had the dragon talisman and could control explosive fire, it seemed impossible to kill so many shadow ninjas at once, especially since they kept appearing endlessly.

"Hum!" Robert's palm conjured a Qi wave, which exploded like a goddess scattering flowers, targeting all shadow ninjas below. The force was just enough to disperse the ninjas without damaging the ground.

This showed Robert's near-perfect control of his power, having figured out how to kill numerous shadow ninjas without causing extra destruction.

"Gulp!" Almost simultaneously, everyone except Batman swallowed hard, witnessing a scene that far surpassed their understanding, even though their perceptions had been shattered repeatedly this evening.

"What are you waiting for? They will keep appearing. Do you plan to stay here? I don't mind if your house gets blown up, although I was told not to cause too much trouble while out..." Robert glanced at Johnny, who stood still in shock.

Everyone: You call this not causing too much trouble?!

"Or do you want to give me the talisman? Then you don't need to leave. But I guess you wouldn't want to give up without a fight after gaining such power, right?" Robert taunted Johnny, who seemed hesitant.

Honestly, even if Robert wanted to take the dragon talisman, he was eager to fight Johnny, who seemed to have a decent control over it.

"Johnny, why don't you give up that talisman?" Susan suggested worriedly.

"Humph! Dream on! I just gained superpowers, how can I give up so easily?!" Johnny, initially intimidated by Robert's destructive power, suddenly got fired up. He grabbed Susan and jumped out of the blasted window, seeing no need to use the door anymore.

"Now's our chance! Throw the talisman to him! Let's go!" Batman, seeing no more shadow ninjas appearing for the moment, quickly whispered to Catwoman.

"Okay!" Catwoman instinctively threw the talisman to Robert, and Batman and Catwoman reappeared.

"Hmm... Hmph!" Robert nodded as the talisman flew towards him. Just as he was about to catch it, several shadow ninjas converged again, lunging towards the snake talisman. Robert snorted and blasted a Qi wave at them, but then a group of ninjas sacrificed themselves to block his attack for their comrades.

"Tss!" Seeing this, Robert increased his Qi output, piercing through the ninjas and turning them into black mist.

However, the ninja closest to the snake talisman managed to grab it and threw it away as he was hit.

On the other side, another ninja emerged, reaching out for the snake talisman.

The ninjas, though not communicating, executed almost perfect coordination. Unfortunately, against absolute power, coordination was useless. The ninja was shot through before catching the talisman, turning into black mist.

The snake talisman flew some distance, landing right in front of Susan and Johnny as they emerged from the house. Susan instinctively let go of Johnny and caught the talisman.

"Buzz!" A light emitted from the talisman, and Susan's figure disappeared instantly.

"Susan?!" Johnny exclaimed as his sister vanished, and at that moment, another group of shadow ninjas lunged towards him.

After all, both the dragon and snake talismans were now with the Stone siblings, and the ninjas were determined to get them, regardless of Robert.

"Get away!" Angry, Johnny shouted, releasing a powerful flame that spread indiscriminately around him.

"Ah!" A scream sounded at Johnny's side.

"Hmm?" Seeing this, Robert frowned, flashed between the source of the scream and Johnny, and spread his Qi to form an energy shield in front of him. The explosive fire struck the shield, creating small trenches on the ground and dispersing the surrounding shadow ninjas.

"You bastard! Why are you blocking me?!" The next moment, Johnny's angry voice sounded, his fiery glare targeting Robert.
