Aaron has always lived a unpleasant life. He had black hair like his mom and hazel eyes. The world Aaron lived in could be described with one word, prosperous. Skyscrapers could be seen everywhere and it looked like a world for giants.
From the day he was born, he had no magic abilities.
Due to this, he was never accepted into a magic academy. Walking to check the mail, Aaron secretly hoped that his admission to Iridian Magic Academy was accepted. Even though he knew it was impossible for an acceptance letter, he still checked just in case.
His eyes slowly widened in disbelief.

Jumping excitedly in the air, he rushed inside his mother's house to tell the good news.
His mother could be described as a relatively good looking woman, with long hair and blue eyes. Right now, she was cooking dinner.
"Look! I finally got accepted into an academy!"
"Aaron, I know you are depressed and all, but you can stop with the jokes now," his mother said.
"No really! I got accepted!"
Peering over, his mother's eyes widened in disbelief as she saw the letter.
Sobbing, his mother said, "No way.. My son finally got an acceptance letter?"
"Mom, please, this isn't a time to be crying! In fact, we should be celebrating! I can finally earn money as a magic researcher after I graduate and support the house!"
However, deep down in his heart, Aaron only wanted to become a magic researcher to find the reason why he had no magic abilities.
"You're right," his mother said as she wiped her tears.
Remembering that he had to go register as a student, he quickly bid farewell to his mom after giving her a hug and rushed over to Iridian Magic Academy. Arriving at a grand building with a spire on it, he pushed open the huge oak doors and walked to the main counter.
"My name is Aaron, and I've come to register as a student."
"May I have your acceptance letter?"
Aaron gratefully handed over the letter with pride.
Upon confirming the validity of the letter, the female clerk said,
"Welcome to Iridian Magic Academy, Aaron. Please head over to the Magic Combat Facility located in the Main Section. Ronnie will tell you all you need to know about your classes. When you receive your classes, you will not be able to change them."
Immersed in what his classes could be, he didn't realize that the teacher said to head over to the "Magic Combat Facility."

Looking at a guide on the wall, he learned that the main section was between the Combat Grounds and the Magic Combat Facility.
Walking out the doors, he zigzagged throughout the academy before arriving at a large building with intricate magic inscriptions on it. Standing before the doors, he took in the fresh air and exhaled.
Speaking to him self, Aaron said, "Finally! I can finally research magic and learn why I have no abilities!"
Right as he was about to step in the building, he heard a rumbling sound from right behind his back.
There was a literal stampede of hundreds of people heading right towards a building!
"Why are there so many people heading toward that building?" Aaron thought.
Not caring, Aaron entered the Magic Research Facility. His objective right now was to find Ronnie, not wonder why excessive amounts of people were rushing in the building. After asking around, he found out that the building he was at was the wrong one.
He relocated and found him self before a castle that looked like the Inveraray Castle. Entering, he again asked for assistance and arrived at a classroom. Upon opening the door, he saw a relatively well built man with broad shoulders and blond hair. He wore glasses and had his legs propped up on his table. His face looked like it was carved by pure experience.
"I'm assuming you are Aaron?" the man said.
"Yes sir," Aaron replied.
"My name is Ronnie, and I will be your magic combat teacher."
Without any further delay, he handed the now confused Aaron a paper. He then left the room.
Looking at the paper, it seemed like a class schedule. However, his classes didn't seem to be related to magic research at all! In fact, it seemed to be a schedule that helped train one's magic power! With a look of despair on his face, he recalled that the female clerk had told him he couldn't change his classes. How was he supposed to train his magic power if he had none? Luckily, he had been placed in the F class, the worst of the worst. Students in F class rarely could use their magic, so he could simply say that it was the same with him. Not only that, he was sure that they would be willing to change his classes even though they said they wouldn't because it was their mistake. What Aaron would soon know however, was that when he sent his admission to Iridian Magic Academy, he had put magic hunter instead of magic researcher.
The conversation with the clerk ended quickly. Learning that he had put magic hunter instead of researcher, he silently cursed him self. Sitting on a bench near a fountain at the Main Section, he had a look of despair on his face.

As if on queue, an notification appeared in his eyes.
