Some Days Are Better Than Others

"What orphanage?" The man said

" Saint Clevens orphanage home" Karen said looking down at her shoes.

{ Karen was a petite girl, with Raven colored long hair, Blue eyes,with a beautiful brown skin , almost like a tanned temptation... She had the shape of an hour glass ... She looks very delicate}

{ They were in a chocolate shop ,that was where Karen was asked to meet him}

"So Karen, why the sudden change of mind unh?" The man said

" Well I don't have anything or anyone to help me understand my powers. I just need to be around people that are like me " Karen said still looking down at her shoe .

" Okay Karen.. Follow me" the man said to her and stood up

{ They walked into the employee room together, Karen wondered what was going on and why they were even walking into there, where they even allowed in there?... suddenly they got into an elevator and he clicked on a series of buttons and it went down so fast and then they got their destination. Karen felt like throwing up on the spot ... She felt really dizzy}

" This way Karen...." The man said as he walked into the large room

{ It was like they were in another world ...it was different from where they where before...it was a very big room.. and they were so many young people in there , just like Karen. They were all wearing the same thing, like some kind of uniform . The room was divided into two sections... Karen some people that were not in uniform like her}

" I'm guessing I'm supposed to stay here" Karen said to the man while pointing at the kids without uniform .

" Yes Karen...those are the newbies... Like you... You should go around and make some freinds because you'll be seeing them a lot" the man said smiling at her

" I don't do well with people " Karen said adjusting are clothes

" I understand, but remember they are just like you" the man said as he walked to the front of the hall... Before a blink of an eye he was at the front.

{ It's like he moves with a speed of light}

**Is he like the boss of this place**

" Good evening students, My name is Ian Neeson and I am the personal assistant to the Dean of this school, who will be addressing us now... Please put your hands together for her "

{ They were all clapping , Karen kept her hands in her pocket, still looking down at her shoes... The Dean walks up to the podium in front of her.}

"Students ... In front of you is Dean Dia coker"

{ The Dean was a woman who was in her Late Forties, she is dark skinned with Ginger colored hair with frickles above her nose , she has pointed nose, with a pouty mouth with honey colored eyes, she was also average in height too }

" It might seem like a lot for you to handle on your own, and that's why we are here to help, we are not only here to help you understand your powers but to guide you and make you the world's best superheroes of all time ... As you walk through those doors ,you've become a new person,a new life and a new family.... It would take sometime getting used to this new environment but welcome to your new home" Dean Dia said as she walks off the podium.

{ Ian takes over and he seems to be wearing their uniform..so he is a student}

"I am also a student just like you , but I'm a senior and I will be graduating soon ,and will be my own superhero soon" Ian said proud of him self { everyone claps}

" And that's why for the time I'll be here I'll be in and out of your business, putting you to the test to see if you can handle our world. If anyone gets more than three strike from me , would be sent home, I wish you guys good luck on your journey to being the best superhero. welcome to Academy for Super Humans { A.S.H}

{ The doors in the hall opened and everyone was walking away to explore, but the newbies were asked to stand in a file to get their paperwork done and get a room number and uniform... Karen was a bit scared , because she wasn't used to this many kind of people with so much thoughts around her ... She cant help but hear their thoughts. So she walked out of the hall through the same door she came in with Ian , she needed some peace and quiet,but it didn't lead back to the elevator or the chocolate shop}

" Where am I ? "Karen said to her self as she looked around

{ She found herself at the top of a roof ,she quickly ran to open the door back ,but it didn't open}

" Oh no, no , no , help , somebody help me" she said banging on the door

{ Someone came out from the back of an air vent on the roof}

" Can you keep it down a little,you know some of us come here to think and relax , get some space from other people" the Dean said walking towards Karen.

" I just wanted to be alone for a little bit , I hear their thoughts" Karen said shaking

" I know, it's overwhelming, you just have to learn to tune them out, you are new?"the Dean said to her

" Yes ma'am, my name is Karen Michigan"

Karen said a bit relaxed

" Okay Miss Michigan, you have dorm orientation to attend , you can be caught roaming around" the Dean said to get smiling

" I'm sorry, I didn't know, I was trying to unlock the door but it wouldn't budge" Karen said looking at the door knob.

{ The Dean leaned over and opened it}

"It's left to right, off you go now" the Dean said to Karen .

" Thank you" Karen hurriedly ran away

** Even the Dean needs some time alone**
