74 Stupor and Transport

Luke went to bed after a shower. There was no sound from next door. Selina had obviously fallen asleep, too.

The Texan countryside was absolutely quiet save for the occasional chirping of birds.

Luke was sound asleep.

After a long time, he suddenly woke up.

He heard the voices of two men next door.

But that was Selina's room. How could there be men talking in her room in the middle of the night?

Alarmed, Luke tried to get up, only to discover that he felt extremely exhausted, as if he hadn't slept for days.

Luke was shocked. Had he been drugged?

He thought quickly, and soon found an ability in the system's list: Basic resistance to interrogation: 100 credits.

He quickly learned the ability. Although his body didn't recover, a huge load of knowledge on resisting interrogation appeared in his head, including ways to resist drugs.
