After loosing his family to an alien invasion, Richard bathed by waves of unstable dark matter gains superhuman abilities. Upon realization of his powers, he begins his journey of revenge against the ones who destroyed his family. During the journey, he meets and gets recruited by a group of super heros with overlapping goals and is trained to become an individual capable of utilizing his abilities properly, with the goal of protecting the world added to his list. prologue
I stared at the red skies that enveloped the entire city. My dad grabbed my younger sister and made for the basement exit. My mom pulled my hand and ran towards the exit. Just as soon as we got out, the house exploded.
Aliens had invaded the planet few days ago claiming to have brought a new style of living. We accepted their humble requests only to have witnessed this horrible plot twist.
I was soon jolted out of my thoughts when a laser blast ran through my dad's skull. My mom shrieked and grabbed my younger sister who burst into tears immediately. We changed to run another direction but an alien pulled my mom up like a piece of garbage and stabbed her through the heart.
My heart shattered as he climbed over my sister who exploded almost immediately. I ran as tears ran freely down my cheek. I stared to look back at my pursuer but what I saw was a something like a shockwave. I increased my pace but was too late. I got sucked into the whirlpool and the last thing I saw was darkness.
