18. Pressure
The teacher looked at the intrigued and curious face of the students with a satisfied smile as he continued. "The winners aren't safe after winning a seat in the Special class.
The winners can be challenged by the people from the normal classes. Their seats can be taken away from them and given to the challenger if he wins.
The winner can deny to accept a challenge but he can only deny the challenge once a week or if he has defeated the challenger already. There can only be one challenge a day.
The challenger after losing cannot expect the seat holder to accept a challenge within the month. After the month, the challenger can once again challenge again and the seat holder has to accept accordingly.
The special class also has to face competition between themselves for better resources. Those at the top will have more while the ones at the bottom will have less. But their resources are still better than the normal classes.
Special classes, each has a tier 3 teacher that instructs the students with Martial arts and cultivation problems.
As I said, we are not training flowers in a greenhouse. So, you will have to face strict competition and pressure if you want to stand at the top of your peers, you have to face the pressure of the top". The teacher said with a small smile this time but his words weren't something funny for anyone.
Alex and the other felt the pressure of the competition. Yes he was strong but he wasn't the only Genius or monster per se. Other classes will have their own geniuses.
To stand at the top, he will have to give everything he has. He won in his own class easily but that won't be the case for any other classes at all. He had to have a strict mentality for it.
The oncoming interclass competition would decide the top 3 of the competition. These three will have the best resources in their year depending on their position in the competition.
Alex was aiming for the top. He will aim to get the best resources that he could get in his year and pull ahead of the competition. But first he had to meet the instructor and get some advice on axe wielding.
He could always get advice and training from his mothers but he wanted to have some variety in his repertoire of techniques and facing different opponents will also give him more combat experience.
"Dismiss". The teacher announced and the children left with their friends towards the School diner.
"Alex, do you think we will get into top 3". Alice asked as she came and took hugged Alex neck with one hand.
"Yes, I believe in you both". Alex said as he smiled at the two little girls.
"Thank you". Both of them said at the same time with a smile.
"U….um Alex-kun". Suddenly, they heard a meek voice behind them.
Alex immediately knew who was that voice and quickly spun on his heel as he saw her. Hinata was standing behind him while fiddling with her fingers in front of her in nervousness.
"Oh Hinata, you are here as well".Alex said with a smile as he got near her and started patting her head.
This had become a habit of his. Ever since he met Alice. He has been unknowingly giving head pats to everyone around him. But it's not like they mind it anyway. So he has been at it ever since
Hinata's ears were red from shame when she felt Alex patting her head but inside she was jumping with joy and happiness.
"Who's this?" Alice and Ye Lian said with a jealous and dark expression as they looked at Hinata being patted by Alex.
"Oh her, she is daughter of the Dojo head. The one I told you about and also my friend". Alex said with a smile. He knew that the two little girls were jealous but he played ignorant to make sure that they can get along with each other.
The girls looked at each other with pressure radiating from them. Hinata's pressure was strongest if the bunch. The girls were jealous and a bit possessive but Hinata was an out and out Yandere stalker.
"Okay okay, no need to be like this. We can be friends, right". Alex said as he patted the pouting Lolis on the head. This got them to smile happily and started introduce themselves to each other.
"Um, Alex-kun, I also joined the special class". Hinata said timidly but without stuttering this time.
"Oh good job. Well done Hinata". Alex said as he congratulated Hinata who had pushed her head towards him for a reward. Alex smiled knowingly and just gave her the reward.
"Oh here we are". Alex said as they came up to the Diner.
As they entered the diner, they scanned their student cards on the machine and verified their identity.
"Please go to the third floor". The scanner took a quick scan of the cards and directed them to the restricted third floor.
Alex and the three girls were a bit expectant when they heard these words. Third floor was the highest floor in the diner. So it also had the highest food standards and ingredients in the diner.
Guess their special class status had already been updated on their student IDs. They quickly started walking up the stairs as they made their way towards the third floor.
The third floor had tables with leather sofas on the sides of them that looked very comfortable by the look. There also others there already eating and talking with each other.
Some were older while some some younger than the others. There was only one table, where one girl was sitting as she was engrossed in reading and eating leisurely.
The party of four took their food and made their way towards the said table. "Hi, can we share the table please. The diner is kind of full". Alex asked politely as he looked at the cute girl.
The girl smiled as she looked at Alex and the others. "No problem, please have a seat". She motioned them to sit as she smiled.
"Guess an introduction is needed". Alex said as he sat down and looked at the cute girl.
She had black hairs that flowed to her shoulders with big dark blue eyes. She looked very cute as she seriously read the book in her hand.
"I am Alexander Oosuki, this is Alice, Ye Lian and Hinata". He introduced everyone by turn and looked at the girl with a smile.
