“It’s fine,” Rusty repeated, “and I know you wouldn’t, even if you could, which you can’t. I’m all grown up.” The tone of his voice changed to a mix of regret and…was that disappointment? “You’ve already told me more than once that what happened before was just sex. Don’t worry. I’m not expecting anything. We can sit and talk if you want. No strings.”
“No strings,” Nate said, “and just sex.”

Nate cleared his throat. “There’s nothing wrong with just sex.”
