Chapter 7: Sun Moon Spirit Energy

As Qin Chen was feeling power coming from his bones, he suddenly felt something, a strand of energy was flowing in his bones.

Qin Chen was astonished, 'isn't it spirit energy.'

'Why isn't he answering' thought Qin Chen

Let's try one last time, ' old dragonnnnn' Qin Chen yelled loudly in his mind!

"What, what, who ate my scarlet soul fruit" old dragon was flabbergasted and mumbled in half awake state. I think old dragon was having a dream of scarlet soul fruit.

"Old dragon you weren't sleeping? Right?" asked Qin Chen with strange tone.

"I was sleeping so what" old dragon replied annoyed at startling awake.

"Someone ate your what was that, oh yes scarlet soul fruit in your dreams" Qin Chen asked trying to stop his laughter.

"Quit this bullshit and say why you woke me up" old dragon annoyingly said.

"I almost forgot, what is this strand of energy flowing in my bones" asked Qin Chen.

"That is sun moon spirit energy, it will help you in your body refinement" old dragon replied.

"But I haven't even opened any meridians so how can it contain any energy" Qin Chen was astonished.

"Let me tell you, if Sun Moon Divine Art was like those common techniques why would I call it a divine technique. It is a buy one get two free techniques. It contains soul cultivation, energy cultivation and body cultivation method all in one. What you achieved today is start of body cultivation, this sun moon spirit energy is result of your body cultivation, it will help you in refining your body, then your body will be as tough as an artifact. At least middle-aged man spat out a single word, "freak"

Elder ma said to Qin Chen while smiling, " congratulations young man on passing the test you got thirty points in talent, while 30 points in comprehension totaling 60 points. In third round to get 30 marks you have to preserve for five days and any days more will be two extra point until 5 days and no more because you lasted 9 days your points for this round will be 30 and 8 bonus points for four days. So, your total points would be 98 out of 100 points."

Middle aged man spoke "do you know what the highest points a person had achieved, that were 83 points, and that was your cousin Zhou Ping, I thought he was a monster but in front of you he was simple a mouse."

Qin Chen smiled sheepishly.

"Now let us talk about your rewards, because you had broken all records, we should let you choose anything from Kunlun academy's treasury but to be fair with other students your reward will be revoked because you missed original admission assessment. Do you have any issue."

Qin Chen smiled wryly and bowed "not really."

Elder Ma said with a satisfied smile, " your grandfather is waiting for you in city lord manor. Meet him and then we will start our journey toward Kunlun academy, you've already wasted 3 months."

Qin Chen opened his mouth to say something but, in the end, decided to not to say.

Elder ma smiled, "I know what you want to say, but I'll advice you to meet your grandfather, sometimes what we think may not be true."

Qin Chen thanked elder ma.

"Now go quickly we have to set off for academy at noon."

Qin Chen said his farewells to three people and left the six Dao Pagoda.

When he reached city lord mansions guest hall, he saw his grandfather pacing around.

Qin Chen quickly bowed and greeted "grandfather."

Murong Yun turned to look at Qin Chen with misty eyes and sighed.

Murong Yun sighed again when he saw his grandson's nonchalant expression.

After some time of silence Qin Chen decided to leave.

His grandfather's voice echoed behind him, "I can't give you any material help because I promised your mother, but you can come back to Murong mansion if you ever feel like you cannot hold on."

Qin Chen left and quickly arrived at teleportation tower. It was a large tower shaped like a cone and on top was a silver crystal.

He stood at the side and waited for elder ma. After about 5 minutes he saw elder ma and that middle-aged man coming he quickly saluted them.

Elder ma chuckled "it looks like you are quite eager to enter Kunlun academy."

Then they entered and made their way toward teleportation formation. It looked like a six cornered star with countless shining runes and six slots at every corner. There was an alter at the center of formation. They paid their fee and attendant placed six translucent crystal gems in empty slots.

'So, these are spirit stones' thought Qin Chen.
