Prelude to Chaos
"You know the girl Arthas?"
"No, I only met her yesterday, I know nothing other than her name. She looks like she has the power within the city tell me about her"
"Oh? You're interested in her I see. Well then, Alicia Blanche, is prominent in her talent with summoning magic just like yours Arthas. She is also from the Blanche family which is one of the pillars of the Kingdom of Moonglade, along with the other 3 families, she was hailed to be the most impressive and talented of the 4 children. Though I don't know how credible they are what I heard"
"Summoning huh, much more talented…That…kinda sucks, great talent comes with a great burden that one has to carry…"
"Which is?"
"To return that talent to the world, in other words, serve. If you can't then it's useless"
"Serve what?"
"What you want, to live in your way. I don't believe in talent alone. Remember as well, Moltar people only say some people are talented because they lack the perseverance to unlock their capabilities."
"I'll take that to mind"
Moltar took his suggestion to heart and thought to himself, 'Wait I'm supposed to be the older one here right? Why does this boy have more wisdom than me'
As Moltar was thinking to himself about his wisdom dilemma Arthas was wondering about how he would go around making the most impact on the situation, would he just go in and summon Morpheus? Or is there something else I can do?
He was thinking about the possibilities of attack as well, during his recent fights he noticed the biggest weakness he has. It was himself, he was too weak and once his summons were fighting others he can't help but defend himself, and taking on borrowed magic drains him.
That's why he asked Ralia to teach him magic, but it's been hours since he woke up from their conversation. But she hasn't contacted Arthas yet, there was only one thing that came to Arthas's mind, 'The goddesses protection is getting in the way again'. The blessing surely became a curse in disguise which became ironic.
"Arthas! Watch out"
Moltar shouted while Arthas was in a daze, he looked at his surroundings and found a Lizardman charging toward him. With a look of surprise, he found his answer.
With a smirk, he asked Moltar, "Hey, can you throw that Lizard as hard as you can towards the battlefield?"
"What?"
"Just do it"
As the lizard drew nearer to Arthas, Moltar appeared in front of him and threw him towards the battlefield, they were relatively near to the side of the gate where the portcullis was located. They were hiding in the bushes in the forest that was near the Portcullis when they got spotted by a random Lizard.
The lizard was thrown really high and flew to the middle of the battlefield and made some friendly fire as he was thrown off by Moltar. Everyone saw what happened and was curious to know what threw their fellow lizard to the ground from such a high altitude.

'What was that?' Alicia looked towards the sky as a lizard was thrown over the heads of everyone and crashed hitting a few lizards with it.
"Hey did you see that?" Frederick called out to her, surprised and flabbergasted.
"Y-Yeah it was weird, who could have done something like that" Alicia replied with a gaping mouth and stuttered from the unbelievable act that was shown.
"Beastman are already hard to fight with their ridiculous strength, not something you can easily throw high across the battlefield. Who was that?" Frederick was dumbfounded by what he witnessed.
While everyone was busy fighting for their lives they both took off a second to look at where it was coming from. A second later the trees fell down, and echoes of thunder descended from the battlefield. The hearts of all stopped from any action, whether it was humans, spiders, or lizards, they all ceased motion from the sound of terror and fear.
More trees began to fall down, and something was happening, the sense of trepidation exalted everyone on the scene, they kept their eyes peeled for what was gonna happen. The anticipation of what could be killed everyone, their hearts beat as the stomps began to grow louder and near.
A gigantic black smoke began to form, no it wasn't a cloud of smoke it was a body, scales of the jet-black night were seen from the enormous body. The creature started to move, with every action comes an earthquake the ground trembled from the magnificence of this creature that bestowed its glance to the battlefield.
It has a distinguishable head that peered from the edge of the large trees that covered the creature. With a glow of dark red eyes, the creature began to walk once again, approaching the battlefield with leisurely steps as it made the ground jump and shake with every movement.
Alicia's heart began to beat with fear and her feet became cold as she looks at the beast that was slowly walking towards them, she froze in the fear of its adversity and strength. She began to profusely sweat as she witness it stop and looked at all of them like they were ants. She was scared she didn't know what to do, she was out of mana, and the city was under attack in and out.
'We are doomed, there is nothing that could stop this monster, I can summon Arianna but it would take time, and space, there's no time for that. No way, no, no way' Her eyes met with Frederick as his face was filled with her.
"That's a City Catastrophe Class monster, isn't it?..." His voice was weak, filled with fear of what might happen next.
"...Yes" She replied with a weak and slow voice. 'What else can we do? We don't have enough resources for this thing? Is this part of the Beastmen's ranks? What's going on? There's too much to think about
Her stare was stuck on to the creature that appeared, not one continued to fight as the monster appeared out of nowhere, without warning or sound. The trees began to slowly fall as all of them went down, making a trail to where the best should go. The environment suffered as its large body began to come into view.
'It was like it came out of the air.' She thought.
"What's up, Alicia" A voice called out behind her.
She looked back and found Arthas, casually walking up to her without a care in the world, his face looked like he just woke up from a long and deep nap. He was still wearing the cloak that she saw the other day.
"A-Arthas? Is that you? What are you doing here and Sir Moltar?"
"Just walking around, I noticed you needed some help so I came to stop by though I would need you to adhere to some conditions before I help" Arthas waved his hand as if it was just a trivial action.
"Please speak your will"
'Whatever it takes, as long as we win this battle. We can give him anything that he wants, as long as it isn't that much of a difficult task then it should be fine. And Moltar is here, I heard his skill with a spear was unmatched inside the kingdom'
"Not now, let's talk later, now is not the best time…In the meantime."
He looked towards the giant black creature with a smirk on his face, with a devilish face he called it out. Its head turned towards where they were, and with a little turn, they saw its red eyes and multiple sharp white teeth that protruded from its mouth. A sense of horror once again chilled her spine.
"HEY! Morpheus"
"You, What are you doing? Do you want to kill us?" Frederick suddenly burst and asked.
"Relax, Golden boy it won't do us harm." He gave a reassuring smile to Alicia and Frederick.
"How can you be so sure?" Alicia asked Arthas.
He looked at her, dumbfounded at her question. Arthas smirk began to widen and soon laugh indiscriminately, his laugh echoed through the battlefield. It was a devilish laugh. He grabbed his stomach with a laugh.
"Well…Yeah…I don't know" He replied his eyes and his smile reaching towards his ears.
'What?' She thought.
He quickly turned around and raised his hands to the sky and called towards the large creature and shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Morpheus, Kill all the Lizards and every fucking spider that you see."
His eyes look diabolic and full of devil's intent. There was a hint of red in his eyes and a smile that struck fear to whoever sees it.
Once again, she felt fear watching him. A much more magnitude of fear, than when the large black creature appeared.
