Ch.14 Meanwhile in Caputa, and the mansion

Wilemina continued her journey to Caputa for quite some time, but she finaly saw the walls of her home town.

"We'll arrive in few hours, just wait a little longer," she whispered to her suitcase, which gave her some weird looks from the grannies around. Be it as it may, Wilemina had to endure it a little while longer.

"Ah! Finaly I can stratch my bones!" she smiled to herself as she pulled her suitcase towards the biggest shop in the town. As she entered the building, the shopkeepers bowed in perfect union.

"Welcome back lady Wilemina," they all said as one.

"It's good to be back everyone! Is granny in?"

"Lady Wikena is in her office," one of the shopkeepers answeared.

"Thanks, I will go meet her now, please return to your job," Wilemina bowed lightly and continued towards an elevator magic device, this company also had as their produce.

The Scarlet lion company. The largest company in the kingdom and the most influential magic item handlers on the continent. That's who Scarlet lion company is. In their lead is family of descendants of great magic caster who was called Sage about three hundread years ago. In other words, Wilemina's family.

Wilemina entered a magic device devised by the previously mentioned Sage, called Elevator that took her up to the highest floor where was the chairman's office.

"Yo! Granny! I'm back!" Wilemina dropped all acts and walked in the room as if she owned it.

"Mina, you never change do you?" the old woman smiled.

"I saw the cart on my way here, did you went to the festival by yourself again?"

"Fufufufu, you know me. I went there to sell some of those," Wikena pointed at a pile of magic items on the table.

"Oh, wow... that's a lot of diversed stuff... Isn't most of this found in dungeons? But we don't sell those in shop," Wilemina looked a little confused at her grandmother.

"Those are what your brother brought from his travels across dungeons of Oonutus continent."

"And you sell them?"

"Yeah. Although, there were some rare monster parts for summoners and original magic guidebook I sold to this adventurer. Fufufu, and when he wasn't looking his friend bought magic rings... fufufu, it was quite nice."

"Summoner monster parts?!" suddenly Ruru burst from magically enlarged suitcase.

"Sis! Calm down!" Roro jumped out after her sister, but Ruru was already next to Wikena.

"Please tell me, was the summoner boy around my age? With red hairs and eyes? And smile that could melt hearts?"

"Uh... I don't know about the last part, but he deffinitely looked as you described him," Wikena got little taken back.

In that moment, almost as if Ruru remembered her usual self, she back of looking down on a pendant on leather string she recieved from the boy.

"So he really came here... do you know where he went afterwards?" Ruru's eyes sparkled.

"From what I overheard his companion talk about, they were going to Almarion dungeon."

"I see. Thank you," Ruru bowed her head.

"Good for you sis, you have a lead towards him."

"Y-yeah..." Ruru blushed so hard that she started to look like a tomato.

'She's so obvious' the three women smiled warmly.

***

After leaving the guildmasters office we left the guild and decided to take a walk to the mansion.

I checked the guild cards of the girls and found out that they all recieved D rank cards.

"So what are we going to do now?" Ricca asked as she walked up to me.

"Let's check on that mansion. Aika said it wasn't used for some time so we should probably think of some repairs."

"Yeah... I don't think that house will be in good state too," Mika had her hands behind her head smiling from ear to ear.

The location of the mansion was on the edge of noble and merchant districts while also being near main road to the dungeon. The building was around fifty years old and had three floors. On the base floor was kitchen, main hall connecting all three floors by staircase and three parlors of different sizes. The first floor had a big banquet hall, library and prep room connected to kitchen by simple elevator for food. Second floor was completly dedicated to bedrooms and the final third floor and attic were ment for storage and servant's rooms.

"This place is bigger then I thought. And it's not even is a bad shape. The hinges needs to get oiled and we need to replace window shutters on the second and third floors, this won't be as costly as I thought," Mika smiled and recieved a happy nods from the remaining three girls.

"Oh, no need to worry about that, here," I opened my item box and gave the three beastman girls some oil for the hinges.

"Huh?" the girls got surprised.

"Back when I worked in Lotus, I had to do these works alll the time. I wouldn't be surprised if that entire place collapsed in few weeks."

Remembering all the things I did for those guys, by stomach started to hurt again. Back then, I wasn't allowed to have opinion on anything so when hinges started making sounds, insted of making me clean first, they ordered me to just oil them and then go do something else...

I quess that they don't even properly check on things now that I'm gone...

"Alright!" I slaped my cheeks, "I will start by summoning Vikith and Twinky to help out and I will look at the window shutters. I'm leaving all hinges here to you okay?"

"Sure!" the three girls nodded happily.

"Mika, could I ask you to go to town and buy some paints?"

"Sure. Red or white? Which will suit it better? Hmm... I guess I will let myself be lead by my heart!" Mika smiled happily so I let her do as she please.

"Well, don't go too crazy, we also need to buy provisions for dungeon dive, okay?"

"Yeah, I know, I know."

And with that we got to work. I had Vikith take down the window shutters and Twinky strenghten the frames with his [Wood magic]. I followed that by using my new spell I learned on the way here from the Original magic spell book called [Repair] which repaired the paints on the shutters.

'Hmm... what if I...'

I looked at the mansion, placed my hand on the wall and chanted [Repair]. In that moment all mana that was in my body flew out like a broken damp and the entire house shined with golden color.

And after that, I passed out.

I'm back!
