Out of the Dungeon

I walk out of the boss's room while still thinking deeply. 'What should I do? How do I explain this to Arlette?' Then I found Aerith already laughing and chatting with the other without any problem.

Barton and the other notice me, they waved at me. Aerith tried to act normal and wave at me with a smile following them. Not to make it more awkward between us, I pretend nothing happened.

"Is everyone ready to go back?" I said to them. All of them look happy right now. Everyone brought their own thing. "You can go first, Arthur." Barton said.

I quickly snap from my own thought "No, please. I will be right behind all of you." I said while smiling at them. Barton shrugged his shoulder not bother to think about anything and touch the orb, followed by Aerith then Maria and lastly Laris that look at me before touching the return orb.

The room turned silent now. "Sorry, everyone. I had my own goal too. I can't leave yet." I said with a silly smile.

I start running down and cut down all the enemy, with every enemy I kill my sword seems to absorb something. I didn't bother with the carcass or drop.

I need to go back as soon as possible, right now, this is a war I had to fight alone. Being alone inside this dark dungeon. People might not realize how depressing this dungeon.

No friend to talk to, no firewood, moist feeling, monster screaming echo through the hallway. It's dark, you can't see but still my luck for using light magic to light the way.

I tried to distract myself by fighting all the monsters. I started to memorize the floor to distract my mind from useless thought. Going down, floor by floor. Killing monster by monster.

Below floor 60th the area is no joke. Finding stairs is like finding a needle in a haystack. The map is too big, I converse my stamina as much as I can. Stimulate my brain to work with mana, made me lost track of time.

This is the first mana stone, I need to get. I made a genuine smile while looking at the necklaces. I put them inside my clothes and open the door. Inside is a chimera, Lion body with a Snake tail.

The roar made the room tremble, I block it with wind magic that I infuse with barrier magic. As soon as he stopped roaring, I dash toward him with my swords at hand.

I got to his right side but my danger sense picked up something, the snake tail spat venom at me. I twist my body and jumped toward the snake. 'Let me cut you first.' I thought while swinging both my swords to cut it.

Reality hit me hard. My swords stop and only made a small cut on the snake. While my body stopped midair, the lion already punched me with his palm send me flying to the wall.

Without waiting for me to came out he shot a beam to me creating an explosion on the rubble. I jumped to avoid it 'I underestimate him too much. Status.'

I put all my skill points to my status. I coat Frostkeeper with Water magic and enchant it with Pressure and Vibration. Blazesong with Fire Magic and enchant with combustion.

While putting all the skill points, I focus on dodging. Now, my revenge on him. Another quick movement, I confront him upfront.

"Burn, Ice Tundra." I made a quick cut with each sword with me charging through. Resulting in a blue flame cutting the chimera into 2 in half.

The mana stone change color into yellow then I put the mana stone inside the necklace. As soon as I do the necklace changed color from rusty metallic into yellow luster.

'One more, another 10 floors.' I grip my necklace and start going down. For a quite long time, I reach the 100th floor.

"Let's end this." I said while opening the door. The boss room shocked me. The place looked totally different room, not like the usual big circle room. This one had a part covered by water, making it looked like an underground lake.

The monster than showed up. It's a Scylla, Three snakes long-headed monster inside the lake. Looking at the place made me chuckle a little "Hehe... You might be made others struggle. Your bad luck going against me." I said while freezing the water.

The Scylla start to struggle because he can't go underwater. He started to break the ice but only made it worse. Lost the footing on ice made him struggle even more.

Without much waiting, I ended him by slashing all their head at almost the same time. The mana stone is bigger when it dropped. The size made it almost 9-meter size while the chimera size reaches 7-meter size.

I compressed the mana stone which changed into a blue color and put it at the fish necklace. The necklace turned blue and moving like water.

I'm about to leave the room but the area started to trembling nonstop, like a big earthquake attack. I lower my balance point when the iced lake cracked. One by one stone path rose up from the bottom, crushing my ice. Until at the end of the path, a shrine rose up.

I walked step by step following the path and see a bow inside a pillar of light at the shrine. I extend my hand toward the bow and feel no restriction from the light.

I can grab the bow and took it out of the pillar of light. But when I'm about to pull the string, it won't budge a single inch. Not bother much with it, I place it at my back. A white and golden bow with feathers placed at both tip.

No stairs going down looked like the bottom of the dungeon. I went out of the room and touch the return orb. The orb shine and blinding me from my surroundings.

When I open my eyes, I stand at a room. Looked like usual room, then adventurer started to show up, One by one. They just walk outside the room and I followed them.

Outside the building, a sun just rose up to the sky. Coloring the black color in the sky with his bright light. Arthur just came out and watch the people when he recognized particular people.

They got a Lily drawing on their hands. I looked at them when they also realize me. 2 men and 3 girls already start walking toward me.

Everyone that noticed me also whispering by themselves. I start walking to the back of the building. "Good morning, Master." The five Lily people greet me after meeting me behind the building which no one came.

"Are all of you Lily's members?" I ask since I never personally met them. "Yes, we're here under a mission from Lady Lily." One of them said.

"Then, why do all of you greet me? Just do your mission. I will read the report." I said shooing them away. I hate to deal with troublesome things.

"Emm... Master, but the mission is to report to you." One of the girls said since all of them looked scared of me.

"All of you just relax. I'm not that scary." I said while scratching my head. I feel like a boss looking at my employees. "Then, if the mission is to report to me, do you really need 5 of you to come here?" I said after thinking for a while.

"We need to observe all the returning points at the same time. Please, forgive our inability to do the mission perfectly." He said apologizing.

"Yeah, just get to the point. It's fine for me." I said to fasten the conversation. I'm tired right now and we talking for too long.

"Lady Lily give us a mission to tell Master that we have succeeded escorting Master blood-related sister into the city. She should be staying at Mr. George's house for 4 days now." He said kneeling.

I snapped at him with my eyes widened "What did you say!?" I unconsciously leak my mana.
