"W-we are finished..." Ludan mutters as the scene around them unfolds. He falls to his knees as the claws all around them approach in slow motion. Lifting his head up to his friend, he is met with an unexpected sight.
Ace was smiling. It wasn't an innocent smile from a sane person. It was a smile of a maniac when something interesting happens in front of them. The edges of Ace's lips were touching his ears making his gums appear in his mouth.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHA What a rush! " Ace's eyes glow brighter than they had ever glowed making Ludan freeze with his eyes wide open looking up at him. As the claws draw near, Ace's body starts glowing a bright white light as his smile widens even more.
