Chapter 1403: I Call the Shots in This Village_1

Under the notification of Alexis White, villagers all gathered in the courtyard of the village community council.

The courtyard, which wasn't too spacious to begin with, was soon packed with people, nearly everyone had arrived.

A table and chair were placed right in the middle, and Peter Brown was seated on that chair.

The villagers looked on with curiosity at all this.

In the past, whenever there was a village assembly, four chairs would be set out for the four brothers of the Hawkins Family to sit upon, but today, it was only Alexis White, the village chief, who was standing next to Peter, with the other three brothers of the Hawkins Family standing among the crowd below.

Alexis White glanced at the villagers and said loudly, "We've called everyone here today to discuss one thing, the town has sent a leader to assist our village, this is Peter Brown, the deputy director, let's give him a warm welcome."

As he spoke, he started clapping himself.
