Chapter 39

Lopez and Martinez sat outside her family's mercado, sipping on Coronas as they laughed, the thought of Travis's situation amusing them both.

"Your brother must be done by now, I'm sure," Martinez said with a smug smile, tilting her bottle slightly.

Lopez nodded. "Yeah, he probably is. By now, he's probably getting his gang some drinks. Let's hope he grabs some for us too," she replied, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"That would be great," Martinez agreed, taking another sip.

Ten minutes later, they were in Lopez's room, the air thick with tension and lust. Martinez lay sprawled on the bed, completely naked, her body arched in pleasure as Lopez's tongue expertly worked between her thighs. The expression on her face was pure ecstasy, her lips parted, her breath quickening, eyes half-lidded as she stared at the ceiling. Every flick of Lopez's tongue sent waves of heat coursing through her.

Lopez's tongue moved with purpose, tracing deliberate circles around Martinez's swollen clit. Each movement was slow, almost teasing, but it had Martinez trembling, her hands gripping the sheets as she bit down on her lower lip, trying to contain her moans. But when Lopez's tongue slid inside her, reaching deep, hitting her G-spot with pinpoint precision, a strangled cry escaped her.

"Fuck!" Martinez gasped, her back arching off the bed as the pleasure surged through her body, her toes curling as she surrendered to the sensations. Lopez knew her body well, knew exactly how to push her to the brink. They had done this countless times before, an unspoken understanding between them—a bond that went beyond friendship. It was purely physical, a mutual need for release, something they had grown into over the years.

Martinez's breathing became erratic, her moans spilling freely now as her climax neared. The intensity of Lopez's tongue swirling inside her pushed her closer, her thighs trembling uncontrollably. Their eyes locked, the connection between them undeniable, the heat, the passion—all of it written in their gaze.

"Yesss!" Martinez cried out, her voice breaking as her body shuddered. The orgasm hit her like a wave, her juices gushing as she squirted uncontrollably. Lopez didn't miss a drop, eagerly licking up every bit of it, her face glistening as she continued to play with Martinez's clit, milking her for all she was worth.

Martinez's hands moved down to help, rubbing her own clit in tandem with Lopez's tongue, prolonging the pleasure as her orgasm stretched out, her body jerking with each spasm. Finally, Lopez crawled up the bed, her face still wet from the aftermath. She captured Martinez's lips in a hungry, passionate kiss, their bodies pressed together as they exchanged the taste of Martinez's release.

Though neither of them identified as attracted to the same gender, their relationship was an exception—a deeply intimate connection born from years of closeness. It wasn't about labels for them; it was about trust, release, and the undeniable chemistry they shared in moments like this.

"It's getting late now. Your brother should've been back by now," Martinez said as she pulled her clothes back on. Lopez nodded, glancing out the window.

"Yeah, he should've. I wonder if they ran into trouble with a rival gang. It's not common for them to go out in such a large group," she said, concern creeping into her voice.

Suddenly, the door flew open. Lopez's mother stood there, her face pale, a mix of fear and worry in her eyes.

"El Hermano—your brother—he's hurt. Come, let's rush to the hospital!" her mom cried, trembling.

Lopez stared at her mother in shock, her mind racing. A million thoughts flooded in, one after another. There were so many reasons why he could've gotten hurt, but for some reason, Travis was the first person to flash through her mind.

<Mia's Room>

After Mia finished getting dressed, she sat on the bed alongside Travis, close but still maintaining a small distance. She wasn't quite ready to be that close to him yet.

"So, um, I was thinking about drawing something cool and simple. Like maybe a car or a doll. I'm not really that good at drawing or anything," she said, her voice uncertain.

"We could change that if you wanted, but let's talk about that later. How about you draw an artist? Don't worry, I'll help with everything. In fact, you'll just need to color it," Travis suggested. He knew that teaching her how to draw would take far longer than they had, so he opted for a quicker solution.

Mia considered the idea and gave a small nod. "That's fine. I don't mind getting free marks," she said with a soft smile.

Travis chuckled. "Alright, grab me a piece of paper, a pencil, and a book to draw on." Mia nodded and went to gather the items while Travis, unable to resist, watched her hips sway as she moved across the room.

'Can't wait to slide into that one of these days,' he thought, a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth.

Once she returned, Travis began sketching. The artist she picked was Michael Jackson, which caught him off guard. "Why him?" he asked, genuinely curious.

"I just think he's cool, even though I've never listened to any of his music," Mia admitted.

"What? You've never listened to Michael Jackson?" Travis stared at her in disbelief.

Mia shrugged. "Yeah, my mom thinks he's the devil or something."

"Wow, that's... wild. But hey, I'm not judging. We should listen to some of his songs together if you ever get the time," he offered.

"Sure, I'd love that. We could do it while we study. I have AirPods, so we can share," she suggested, a hint of excitement in her tone.

Travis nodded and went back to the drawing. It was tough, working from memory, but in the end, it came out pretty well. Once he finished, he labeled the sections so Mia would know what colors to use. She carefully colored it in, and when she was done, she proudly showed it to him.

"Good job," he said, giving her a thumbs up.

"Thanks, but I couldn't have done it without your help—literally."

Travis chuckled and waved it off. "No big deal. What time is it?" He glanced at his phone. It was nearly nine. Deciding it was time to leave, he stood up.

"Alright, Mia. I'll see you tomorrow. And don't lock your windows... just in case I drop by for a surprise visit," he added with a playful grin.

"Sure, I'll keep that in mind," she replied. Travis got off the bed and casually dressed. When he finished, he leaned down and gave Mia a quick peck on the cheek, catching her completely off guard.

"Peace, Mia. Hope you survive the wet dream you're about to have," he teased, opening the window and effortlessly jumping out, leaving her in a whirl of emotions.

'He kissed me!! Does that mean he likes me? Wait... I have an upper hand over that emo bitch now! Ahahahaha,' she laughed inwardly like a madwoman, thankful it all stayed inside her head.
