Summer Days *33* [Terra]

"[Name]!" You heard a voice call, you were still to deep in sleep to recognize it. You rolled over in bed, wrapping up in your sheets and groaned.

"Go away. I'm tired..." You groaned out, drifting back into sleep. You heard a low chuckle and someone walk towards your bed.

"[Name]? [Name]??" Terra's voice called out. He poked you in the shoulder.

"You awake?" He asked.

You mumbled something incoherent.

He sighed and sat on your bed. He leaned over and kissed you at the base of your neck, then higher and higher till he reached your chin.

"S-Stop. That tickles." You giggled which made him grin.

"Come on [Name]. I didn't come all the way over here to watch you sleep. Although you are really cute when you sleep." He tagged the last part on as an after thought.

You sat up and looked at him, "Hi Terra."

"Hi [Name]."

You leaned on his shoulder an closed your eyes, "What are you doing here? Where's Cloud and them?" You yawned.

"Cloud let me in before he left for work. I thought we could do something today, you know of you wanted to?"

You nodded, "I'd really like that Terra."

He left after a little bit so you could get ready.

After getting ready you walked downstairs to see Terra flipping through a random magazine he had picked up from the coffee table, he threw it back down when you walked in.

"You ready to go?" He asked offering his arm.

You looped your arm through his happily, "Yupp where are we going?"

"Anywhere you want." He declared.

"The library? For real??" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Im looking for a book." You replied dragging him towards the door.

As you walked in a voice called your attention to the circulation desk where an older lady sat.

She had a reddish-purplish aura around her. She had red hair that was graying at the roots and went to her shoulders it curled out at the ends. Her eyes were brown and she wore a pair of glasses on the bridge of her nose.

"Hmm, Mr. Fair. What a pleasant surprise to see you and not your brother." She announced.

"Nice to see you too Mrs. Hartever." He forced a smile, so it turned out to look more like a grimace.

"And who is she?" Mrs. Hartever asked.

"Oh Im [Name]. It's nice to meet you." You smiled.

She looked you up and down, "Your girlfriend I presume", Terra opened his mouth but she continued, "Strange though normally it's your brother who has the prettier girlfriends. Hpmh. It was nice meeting you [Name]."

She turned back to her computer leaving poor Terra standing there with his mouth hanging open.

You took his arm and led him away.

He had a frown sketched to his face, so you stood on your tiptoes an planted a kiss right on his lips. It caught him by surprise but he kissed back quickly.

You pulled away, "Forget what she said. Ok?"

He nodded with a half smile, "Alright. Let's go find that book."

"Umm actually. I think I could find it myself. Can you go get us a reservation for somewhere to eat? I'm starved." You smiled.

He shrugged, "Sure. I'll meet you outside."

You quickly typed in 'Aura'.

Two books popped up. The first was in the fiction section and was about some girl and her best friend or something. You skipped over it and went to the second. It was in the nonfiction section, you wrote the section number on a slip of paper by the computer and went to find it.

After searching aisle after aisle you finally found it. It was a thick book, with old pages and a worn out cover. You picked it up and sat at a nearby table. You flipped it open, skipping the intro and getting straight to the information.

The rest of the paragraph seemed to go on and on about how great the Gazer's were and how very few people could see and yadda yadda blah blah. You skipped over the next few pages, your eyes locked onto a section where the title was highlighted

Took in a deep breath and re-read that paragraph.

The info didn't change.

Was it true? Could you actually...

"Namine." You whispered.

You knew her name and her Aura, and she had listened to you! This explains it all.

You skipped to the very last page, it was an advertisement for the author's other book. It was a book on Travelers and Portals. You looked for the book but to no avail.

You considered checking out the book but decided against it, you couldn't carry it out without having Terra ask questions.

Terra was leaning against the stair railing.

"Hey you ready?" He asked jumping up.

"Yeah let's go."

"Where's your book?" He questioned.

You shrugged nonchalantly, "Couldnt find it now let's go eat."

He grinned and led you away from the library.

"What is this place?" You stared up at the small cafe located on a strip mall besides the actual mall.

"JiJi's Cafe." Terra announced with a grin.

He opened the door and ushered you in.

Inside was decorated nicely. With tables spread throughout the restaurant and a bar in the back, TV's were hung on the walls.

"Hi welcome to JiJi's! Follow me." A young waitress with a light purple aura led you to a table by a window.

You both ordered your meals and your drinks, the waitress smiled and walked off with your order.

"This place is great." You gushed.

Terra smiled as he gazed at you, "Yeah it is pretty sweet."

"What?" You asked.

He chuckled, "Nothing nothing."

"Im glad you got time off today Terra." You said.

"Yeah me too."

You both continued your conversation when the waitress came back with your food. The food was absolutely delish. Terra, much to your dismay, paid for the entire meal bt before he could set down the tip as well you slapped down a decent tip.

He laughed before leading you out of the cafe.

"I was gonna walk you home before I headed off to work. Is that cool?" He asked taking your hand in his.

"Course it is." You replied.

The walk home was peaceful, talking to Terra was so easy. It was like breathing, it came so naturally.

He led you to your front door where he paused and leaned casually onto the door frame.

"So hey, would it be crazy if I said I loved you?" He asked.

You looked at him in pure shock.

He nodded, "I'll take that as a yes."

"Wait..are you serious?" You questioned.

He remained quiet a moment than nodded again, "Yeah I am."

You moved your mouth to speak but formed no words.

"Hey don't answer, I don't want you to. I just thought I'd put that info out there for you", he kissed your forehead, "Alright?"

You gave up trying to form words and nodded.

"Good. Bye [Name]. I'll see you later." He waved and left.

You watched him leave before turning to enter the house.

You walked in and found Cloud watching TV in the couch.

"Hey. Where have you been?" Cloud asked.

"Out. You?" You replied sitting besides him.

He raised an eyebrow at you and smirked, "I was out too."

He was watching a football game when you thought of your scheme.

You looked at Cloud. Okay, you knew his name. His aura was a few shades lighter then Zack's, like a baby blue. You kept that in your mind.

"Cloud change the channel to the Food Network." You said.

You chose Food Network because he never watched that channel especially when there was a football game on.

He changed it nonchalantly.

You gasped.

"Ok. Umm Cloud go get me a bag of chips and a soda...please."

He stood and went to the kitchen as you sat there in a surprised state of mind. He came back with Doritos and a Sprite. He tossed it to you and sat back down wordlessly.

"Ok Cloud, go back go normal." You said.

He shook his head and groaned, "What the- Hey! Why is the food network on?!"

He quickly changed it back he turned to look at you.

"Oh thanks." He took your chips and soda.

You nodded and went back to your room wondering if this was all just a dream.
