You were currently following Leon and Sora down the road from Cloud’s house to the school’s office. Sora was chatting non-stop on your right and Leon was casually walking on your left.
“You're going to love it at HBA!” Sora cheered with a fist pump.
“HBA?” You questioned aloud.
“Hollow Bastion Academy.” Leon spoke up.
You nodded sheepishly feeling like an idiot.
“Do you go to HBA Leon?” You asked looking from the shorter brunette on your right to the taller one on your left.
He chuckled and his lips twitched into a smile briefly, “No I go to HBU. It’s Hollow Bastion’s University.”
You smiled and mentally slapped yourself. Of course he doesn’t still go to high school. He looks so much older than a high school senior. The rest of the walk was filled with chatter mainly from Sora. You occasionally answered his questions or nodded your head but he kept the conversation alive himself. Leon stopped where the road turned either right or left. Straight across from the three of you was a small red brick building squished between two much larger buildings.
“That’s the gym”, Sora pointed to the building on the right then to the one on the left, “and that’s the fire department.”
“The one in the middle is the registration building.” Leon said.
“Thanks.” You smiled brightly at them.
Leon began to drag his little brother down the road past the fire department.
“Bye [Name]! See you soon!” Sora called out as he left.
You waved until they were out of sight then stepped up the small brick staircase that led to the Registration building’s front door. Inside there was a gloomy aura. The ceiling and walls were a shade of monotone gray and the floor was a cold dull white tile. In the far corner was a large desk with an open wood door behind it.
“Hello?” You called out.
A tall muscled figure stepped into view from the open door. He stood behind the desk not looking up at you. His black hair stood out against the gray walls. He threw a piece of paper onto the desk then looked up.
“Do you need something?” He asked with a half smirk on his face.
“I need the registration sheets for HBA.” You said to Angeal Hewley, the SOLDIER from Final Fantasy.
“You're going to start going to HBA?” He asked lifting his hand to point at you.
You nodded in response, “I'm [Name]. I'm a junior”
He held out his hand over the desk for you to shake. You took his rough and rather large hand as he introduced himself, “Angeal.”
You thought smiling.
Angeal glanced around the desk then handed you a few sheets of paper, “I don’t actually work here but I think these are it.”
You took them from his hand and thanked him, “Thanks I appreciate it.”
“No problem. It was nice meeting you [Name]. See you Monday I suppose.” He said before leaving out the door he came in, which you assumed connected to one of the neighboring buildings.
You waved then sat down and began to fill out the forms. A few minutes later after you had filled out a majority of the paperwork you heard footsteps come in through the door behind the desk again. You turned around to see who it was and your face paled.
His long silver hair swished around his serious facial expressions and his cold eyes narrowed in on yours.
“Hello?” Sephiroth’s smooth voice asked.
“H-Hi.” You stuttered out at the Final Fantasy villain.
“Can I help you with something?”
You quickly scribbled out the answer to the last question then crossed the room to hand him the papers. He glanced over them briefly.
“Ah Miss [Surname]. It’s nice to meet you.” He said still reading over the papers.
He glanced up at you and set the papers down, “You may call me Mr. Sephiroth. I am the principal of Hollow Bastion Academy. I'm glad to see you’ll be joining us for the remainder of the school year.”
You nervously played with your hands. He seemed to be a good guy here considering he hasn’t killed and/or attacked you yet, but still he was as intimidating as intimidating gets.
“Let me go get your uniform. Your schedule will have to be picked up Monday morning.” He said stepping back through the open door.
You let out a breath of relief and relaxed some. He came back only a few moments later with a medium sized white box. He handed it to you from over the desk and smiled. He may have meant for the smile to be cheerful but it only made you tense up more.
“Welcome to Hollow Bastion Miss [Surname].”
You turned on your heel and rushed out the door holding tightly to your box. You didn’t realize someone was standing at the base of the stairs until you nearly ran them over.
“Sorry.” You apologized.
“It’s fine.” He replied.
Your head tilted to the side as you glanced at the innocent looking boy. He was smiling sweetly and had blonde hair that stuck up in nearly every direction.
“Roxas?” You said aloud.
His blue eyes widened and he looked flustered for a moment, “Have I met you before?”
You quickly shook your head, “No no I-uh…heard about you. From someone else.”
Roxas looked confused for a moment but didn’t question it, “Alright then.”
You smiled then glanced around at your surroundings. The light of the day was already beginning to fade away and when Leon and Sora had walked you here you hadn’t paid any attention to the directions at all.
You thought with a sigh.
“Are you um ok?” Roxas asked nervously.
You glanced back at him to see a light shade of pink blossom across his cheeks.
“Yeah I'm just a little lost.” You shrugged.
“Oh well I can help you out, if you want me to…”, He offered scratching the back of his head.
You chuckled, “That would be a ton of help thanks.”
He smiled sheepishly, “I uh never caught your name, and you know who I am…”
“My name is [Name].” You replied.
