"Wait, Both of you... Show me your IDs." Two Human Gurds stopped Lucian and Sylvie at the gate.

Both of them were covered in thick iron Plated Armours and they had long spears alongside them.

The spears were sharpened and can take any Human's life at one swing.

"Here, You go..." Sylvie spoke as she gave a card type thing to the guard.

"Okay... What about you, Youngman ? Where is your Id ?" The guard asked.

"I-I don't have it..." Lucian spoke with a stammering voice as he looked at the guard.

'Don't tell me he is going to kill me for that. Na, I mean.. how can he do that ? I don't have an ID what's the big deal ?' Lucian thought as he calmed himself down.

"What do you mean, You don't have it ?" The Guard asked with a serious expression.

"Umm, Sir... He lost his memories due to an accident in the process and maybe his ID fall down from his pocket." Sylvie spoke up.

"Is that true ?" The guard asked as he looked at Lucian with a serious expression.

"Yes, Sir... I hitted my head in a tree and got unconscious. Since, then I have been missing memories." Lucian lied in such a manner that it felt more than real to the Guards.

"Okay... Write your name down over that paper and go inside. You will see a booth on the left side as soon as you enter inside the kingdom.

Enter that booth... They will make you a new ID." The Guard spoke.

"Yes, Sir..." Lucian immediately picked up a feather pen that was really old fashioned pen and started writing his name over the paper.

Even though, he didn't even knew what language he was writing it in... He still wrote his name without any problems.

Lucian noticed that he can read the other names too, that were written over the paper.

'So, It's a common occurrence to loose your ID card, huh ?' Lucian thought as he looked at the long listof names.

Lucian entered inside the kingdom and as the guard said, Both of them started walking towards the booth that was right by the gate.

Both of them entered inside the booth and saw another guard sitting on a table. In font of him was sitting a young man around 17 years old.

"Okay Mr. Hul, So you say that your ID card was eaten by a Slime, right ?" He asked.

"Y-Yes, Sir." The guy replied with a scared expression.

"This is your 7th time losing your ID card, you prick. You gave the same excuse every single time.

Can't you be a little more careful with your fucking ID card ? We make them for free but that doesn't mean you can have as many as you want."

"I-I am very sorry, Sir."

"Yeah, Obviously... Place your fucking hand over the crystal ball and supply mana into it." The guard shouted as she placed a crystal ball over the table.

"Y-Yes..." The guy spoke as placed his hand over the crystal ball and immediately a card came out of the crystal ball.

It was like magic, A card materialising out of nowhere and suddenly, his details started appearing over the card.

In just 2 minutes, the card was ready.

"Take it and Go. Remember one thing... If you lost this ID card, I will not let you go back to your mom and Dad. You understand me ?" The guard asked with a serious expression.

"Y-Yes, Sir." The guy picked up his card and immediately exited the booth.

"Next..." The guard shouted.

"Go, Mr. Lucian..." Sylvie spoke as she pushed Lucian towards the guard.

"Yeah..." Lucian replied as he started walking towards the guard and sat down on the chair silently.

"So, your name should be Mr. Lucian... Right ?" The guard asked.

"Yes..." Lucian replied with a neutral expression.

"You lost your card and your memories... While running away from a slime, right ?"

"Yes..."

"First time card losing..."

"Yes."

"Okay, Place your hand over this crystal ball and supply mana into it." The guard spoke with a calm expression.

Lucian slowly placed his hand over the crystal ball and he didn't knew how to supply mana into the ball.

"Umm... How do you supply mana ?" Lucian asked with a confused expression as he looked at the guard.

"Huh...? Did you forgot how to use mana ?" The guard asked with a surprised expression.

"Yeah... Kind of." Lucian replied.

"Fuck man... I hope, I can forget my wife like that. Which tree did you bump your head into and from what angle ?"

"I don't know..." Lucian replied.

"Okay... So, close your eyes and try to focus. I will supply mana into your body and once you feel it, Tell me to stop." The guard spoke.

"Okay..." Lucian spoke as he closed his eyes and felt the guards hand over his forehead.

Suddenly, Lucian felt something gushing into his body. An energy... A powerful energy, A refreshing energy that felt explosive and calming at the same time.

'This is amazing...' Lucian immediately started controlling his mana.

"Stop..." Lucian spoke.

"Okay." The guard stopped supplying mana into his body.

Lucian slowly opened his eyes and placed his hand over the crystal ball.

He then supplied mana to the crystal ball and suddenly, A card came out of the crystal ball.

Details started engraving over the card and in just 2 minutes, the card was ready.

"Don't loose it again, Please. Now, Go." The guard spoke with a neutral expression.

"Okay..."
