1  Chapter 1 New Neighbors

 Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter were walking up the stairs of their apartment with some frustration.

 As PhDs in theoretical physics and experimental physics, the two originally had enough confidence in their IQ. To allow humans to have more high-IQ offspring, they went to a sperm bank for high-IQ people to donate sperm, but they were filled in. The watch hesitated for a moment.

 "This is genetic fraud!"

 Sheldon suddenly lost confidence when he thought of his sister who was still working as a restaurant waiter.

 Back at the apartment, Leonard was about to take the key to open the door, but found that the door of the neighbor's house opposite was open, and a hot blonde beauty was packing things inside.

 "New neighbor?"

 Leonard opened his eyes wide.

 Sheldon shrugged: "Obviously."

 "It's a significant improvement compared to the last one."

 Looking at the beautiful woman in the room wearing hot pants and a T-shirt, Leonard's male hormones immediately secreted rapidly.

 "Hi! I'm Leonard, this is Sheldon, we are your neighbors."

 Sheldon didn't feel anything at all. For him, women were not as attractive as Star Wars and The Flash.

 "Hi! I'm Penny, I just moved here."

 The beauty greeted her openly, while mentally commenting on her new neighbor.

 ". They look no different from those nerds with social phobia. They are very safe."

 At this moment, the door of the apartment opposite opened and a boy walked out.

 The boy has greasy hair that is common among business elites, with neat and clean facial lines, and a standard figure. Most importantly, he is wearing a British handmade three-piece suit. It looks like it is expensive, and it feels like the monthly rent is only 1,200 US dollars. There was something out of place in the apartment.

 The boy said with some confusion: "Sheldon, Leonard, aren't you going to donate?"

 "Ah~~~" Leonard suddenly started talking: "Martin, why haven't you left yet? Today is not the day. Is there going to be a court session?"

 "I'm about to go, right?" The boy was a little confused at first, but then he saw Penny staring at him and drooling from behind, and then he realized it and shook his head in amusement.

 "Our new neighbor? Hello, I'm Martin Scott." It

 took Penny a long time to react. Her smile instantly brightened a lot. She stretched out her hand to hold the boy's hand and shook it, looking like a complete nymphomaniac: "Hello. I'm Penny."

 Seeing this situation, Leonard became a little disappointed and whispered to Sheldon: "We may never find a girlfriend if we live with this guy."

 Xie Newton looked unsurprised: "Although I don't agree with humanities such as law, from a biological point of view, it is indeed easier for Martin to obtain the right to mate than us."

 Out of politeness, they exchanged pleasantries. After the meeting, Martin looked at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Tourbillon watch on his wrist and said with an apologetic look: "I'm sorry Penny, I have a case that goes to court today and I have to leave right away."

 "Court?" Penny didn't know for a moment. Reacting: "Are you a lawyer?"

 "Just graduated," Martin explained humbly and then looked at Penny's hands that were about to touch her chest with some embarrassment.

 "Huh? Oh~~~"

 Penny then realized that her actions were a bit too much, and she quickly stopped her hands and acted reserved.

 "Sorry." Martin straightened his collar and said with a smile, "Leonard, Sheldon, I'm leaving first."

 After saying that, Martin turned around and hurried downstairs.

 Penny calmed down her excitement after seeing the handsome guy, then turned to Leonard and Sheldon and asked, "Is he your roommate?"

 Leonard nodded in despair.

 "Why is he a lawyer living here? Or in a shared apartment?"

 In the United States, lawyers are an extremely high-paying profession. Even a newly graduated paralegal has an annual salary of 180,000 U.S. dollars, and there is an annual salary increase of 20,000 U.S. dollars. Not to mention a licensed lawyer.

 With such a salary, it is enough to rent a high-end apartment in the city center. Why live in this apartment with a broken elevator?

 Leonard was still immersed in the disappointment of being robbed of the limelight, but Sheldon on the side explained sternly: "Martin said that he works eighty hours a week, and it doesn't make any difference to him where he lives, and he wants us to These Ph. D.s in natural sciences gave him some scientific influence."

 "Doctor?" Penny sensitively grasped the key point: "Are you a doctor?"

 Speaking of his most proud aspect, Leonard's self-esteem was already broken. Finally bridged a bit.

 "I have a PhD in experimental physics from Princeton, and Sheldon has a PhD in philosophy and theoretical physics."

 "I also have two science degrees and a master's degree in literature." Sheldon interjected: "I hope you can give a more comprehensive introduction. ."

 Penny, who had only graduated from high school, was almost stunned when she heard this. She looked at the two people in front of her in disbelief, as if she was seeing a science monster.

 After a while, Penny pointed to the empty corridor: "What about Martin?"

 "A doctor of law from Harvard University, an authentic JSD. This is one of the reasons why he can live with us."

 Sheldon said seriously: "Although I don't think humanities such as law are of great significance to the progress of human science and technology, it is the basis for building a modern civilized society, and to some extent, it is barely worthy of it."

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 On the other side, Martin Scott walked from the apartment door to the street, first looked around, and then Put your index finger and thumb in your mouth and whistled loudly.
 In New York, this is a must-learn life skill.
 Soon, a yellow taxi stopped in front of Martin.
 Martin got into the taxi, casually said "District Court", and then looked at the scenery outside the car window, thinking about the new neighbor who was beautiful and sexy enough just now.
 "Is this the beginning of the plot?"
 Since being reborn here twenty-three years ago, Martin has discovered many things that are different from real life.
 When I was young, my neighbor's last name was Cooper, there was a super genius named Sheldon,
 a freshman in high school, a female classmate named Juno who gave birth to a child, and a chemistry teacher named Walter White.
 Where is this reality? It is a comprehensive plan of American dramas and Hollywood movies!
 This discovery left Martin frustrated and nervous.
 What's frustrating is that he can't seem to go back. The house he just bought still has twenty-eight years of mortgage payments
 . What's nervous is that he seems to be an ordinary person.
 After repeated confirmation, he learned that there is no company called "Stark Industries" here. Or the "umbrella" company, I felt a little relieved.
 At least it's not a plane full of superpowers, so I can still have some fun.
 However, the current situation is somewhat different from the previous life. For example, the four protagonists in "The Big Bang Theory" did not enter Caltech, but went to Columbia University in New York to do physics research. This has made Martin worried about Penny, who yearns for Hollywood. It would just disappear.
 Now that I see Penny moving in next door, I feel completely relieved.
 When he thought of the lively plot in the future apartment, the corners of Martin's mouth could not help but curl up slightly.
 "Sir, the District Court has arrived."
 The taxi driver glanced enviously at the young man in a suit and leather shoes in the back seat who was looking out the window in a daze.
 Martin reacted, took out his wallet, handed a fifty-dollar bill to the driver, then opened the door and got out of the car with his briefcase.
 Walking to the gate of the court, Martin saw a handsome middle-aged man who was also well-dressed standing there, looking at him seriously.
 "Scott! As a new lawyer, you shouldn't arrive later than the senior partners of the law firm."
 Before Martin could approach, the middle-aged man asked accusingly.
 Martin waved the jaeger-LeCoultre on his wrist at the middle-aged man: "Eight twenty-one, there are still nine minutes before the agreed time."
 "It is the professional attitude of a lawyer to arrive ten minutes early." The middle-aged man replied dissatisfiedly. He said something.
 "You are my supervisor, you have the final say."
 Martin spread his hands and walked into the court side by side with the middle-aged man.
