Chapter:8: A snake under grass weapon: Happy, Really Happy

It was in the morning, and just when I opened the door to see if I can go out hunting again, Xander and Peter woke up, followed by "Today is the day you choose the course you'll take, head to the basketball court and there you'll be split" being blurted out the intercom, I stepped out the door and almost crashed into the telekinetic girl "Kobby, which course are you joining" she asked "One I didn't get your name, two maybe weapons, if possible" I said, she smiled "I'm Amanda" Xander stepped out and I could see him fighting the urge to tease me.

We got to the basketball court, Xander and Peter were placed in 'Natural manipulation' and I got to be in 'Weapons with Amanda. Xander and Peter waved at me as we were sent our separate ways.

"Welcome to Weapons class, here, no serious injuries will occur, and if you some how get hurt, we will send you to the nurse's office to heal" our teacher explained before walking us to the armory "You shall refer to me as Master Khane, without further ado, those without Weapons pick your Weapons" Amanda jumped backwards just as a handful of the class rushed by her and picked the ones they want, someone took a Katana, another took a Great sword which really is funny since it's just and oversized Katana, but the funniest weapon chosen had to be the giant Hammer. Once they got geared up I walked to the pile of weapons, "Stick your hands in, the perfect weapon will latch onto you" Lucifer said, I put both my hands in and got a bracelet wrapped around each of them, I pulled it out and the whole class started laughing with the exception of Amanda and Master Khane. Master Khane walked over and praised my decision saying "What you have on your arm wouldn't wrap around anyone's hand, but it wrapped around yours in seconds, bad news is it can't be removed, so you're keeping it" a little confused I joined the mass as Master Khane began lecturing, soon enough he pointed at me and a guy with a spear to fight, "Don't use your powers" he said.

The moment we got to the center of the room where the fight is to take place, I smiled a normal smile but showed my teeth. Khane signalled us to start fighting, my opponent thrusted his spear forward and I jumped to the side, wondering what the bracelet is capable of I dashed at him but had to dash backwards as he attempted to strike me in the stomach. "Come on, isn't your weapon the best", I gave of a maniacal laugh, then the bracelets turned into small blades stuck to my wrists, I dashed at him again but this time when he tried to slice my stomach I flipped over his spear and landed infront of him I then flung my hand at him but stopped with my palm pointing upwards so that he will be aware of the blade that could have entered his head if I was willing to kill him infront of everyone. He dropped his spear in defeat.

Master Khane clapped for me which broke the others to also clap, he then instructed everyone to find a sparing partner, but when I was going to Amanda to spare with her he stopped me, saying he wants to try me, those who had already started fighting stopped and watched as me and Master got to the center of the room.

He was using a double bladed Katana, on his mark the fight officially began, but neither of us made a move, but I was the first to attack. I dashed at him seeing he's to focused, which gave me the upper hand but he was prepared for such a situation, he used he double bladed Katana to deflect my attack and tried hitting me but I flipped over him then dashed back before he could thrust his Katana backwards, the thirty minutes that followed was one that was touché and confusing. I would gain the upper hand and have the chance to strike but he will throw me away and try to attack but I will slip by him then the whole process restarts. we were pretty much exhausted after the whole (common in) anime scene but I had the last laugh, in the last attack, using all our strength we dashed at each other and let our weapons clash, but both blades on Master's Katana broke, which declared me the winner. Me and Master had fought the time away so after I won and slumped onto the wall, I realised that my energy was returning, then the bell rang signaling the end of weapons class for the day.
