Lunch and The Other Watching

Shawn, who had just finished changing, was approached by Barbarra. The girl slipped the rubber ball into Shawn's hand.

"Soon Cameron will be here. It is a tool for your revenge," she whispered in Shawn's ear, "Thanks for helping me out earlier, Shawn," added Barbarra again.

Shawn looked at Cameron who was walking with a limp.

"Is that your doing?" Shawn asked Barbarra.

"Yes. It is because he's been laughing at me too," Barbarra then backed away to see Shawn's face, "Are you going to let it go because I kicked his leg?"

Shawn looked at the ball in his hand, "Uhm… I don't think so. At the very least I would just slightly reduce my strength. It's just that when it comes to laughing, doesn't Kara laugh at you too?"

Barbarra smiled meaningfully, "In that case, I have it prepared."

It's time to eat.

"Enjoy your meal!" cried the six of them as they ate lunch. The wind blew lightly as if adding to the enjoyment of their lunch.

Cameron, who was also sitting there, was seen chewing the food with tears in his eyes, however, it wasn't because the food he ate was delicious.

This food was delicious of course, however, not so delicious that it brought tears to his eyes. But this is because of the lump on his forehead that is swollen. While grimacing occasionally his hand moved to rub the lump that grew on his forehead.

"What a sadistic couple," Cameron grumbled as he looked over at Shawn and Barbarra who were smiling, enjoying the food that tasted so delicious on their tongues.

Kara looked at the seven people who ate with her, they seemed to be eating comfortably, except for Cameron because of the bump on his forehead. It was his own fault for kicking Shawn. Shawn is indeed calm but, the guy is also not the type to be silent if he is teased.

Kara chewed slowly her food which tasted like hell exploding in her mouth. She grimaced, this food really tasted awful.

Then, her gaze met with Barbarra who smiled sweetly at her. In that instant Kara understood that it was Barbarra's doing.

"Ah, sadistic girl," she grumbled in her heart. Kara then went to the back and vomited the hellish food from her mouth.

As Kara was wiping her lips, someone handed her a bottle of mineral water. That's Barbara.

"This bottle contains regular mineral water," said Barbarra, "Use it to rinse your mouth and go back to eating. I've already replaced your meal with a new one," added Barbarra again before walking back into the dining area.

Kara stared at the bottle in her hand for a moment, looking at Barbarra's back before finally looking back at the bottle in her hand.

She then took a sip of the water from the bottle, used it to rinse her mouth as Barbarra had said and then Kara returned to the dining area. Sure enough! Barbarra had prepared a new portion for her.

"Ah, sadistic bastard," Kara grumbled in her heart, however, she couldn't help eating the food and it really didn't taste like hell anymore.

After eating Shawn returned to the tent, there was something he wanted to take. Before long, Shawn came back with ointment in hand. He threw the tube of ointment at Cameron who was sitting.

"Use it for your forehead and legs," he said, which immediately got a look full of emotion from Cameron.

"Oh, Shawn my brother. I knew you wouldn't be that heartless." Cameron immediately stood up and hugged Shawn tightly, "Thanks for the medicine, Shawn."

Shawn struggled, "Keep your hands off me," he refused as he tried to free himself.

"Okay," Cameron spread his arms, he lifted the tube of ointment towards Shawn, "Then please apply this ointment on my feet and forehead."

Shawn, of course, flatly refused the suggestion. "Use your own hands, Cam," he cried as he walked away, "Your hands are not hurt."

"But… But… I got hurt because of you, Shawn."

"Stop with your ambiguous words, Cameron," Shawn shouted, "Do it yourself."

"Ah, you're mean," Cameron grumbled. He then turned to Nora who looked unemployed.

"What?" Nora exclaimed as she sat down reading a book.

"Nora, did I tell you you look beautiful today," Cameron complimented.

Shawn walked along the beach which was overgrown with trees, the feeling that someone had been watching him all along.

Shawn then turned and looked around but, he did not see anything suspicious.

Shawn sighed.

Was it just a feeling?
