4. Future Wife

Selena had fantasized about marrying Aldric. However, she couldn't believe that her fantasy was about to come true. Just a few steps away, she could be sitting down the aisle with the love of her life. Like a Cinderella with her prince. 

Selena touched her moist lips. The kiss is still felt even now. Her first kiss. The girl smiled. It was not in vain that she had been guarding her lips if finally Aldric was the man who took her first kiss. 

Okay, although honestly Selena also felt scared of the game Aldric had created. What was this game? Marry someone you just met? Sounds strange, doesn't it? Why should it be with a girl as simple as Selena, when there are many other women out there who are much more perfect and have the same social strata as Aldric.

Apparently, avoiding Aldric was not easy. Once again, the man used his power to get the card lock of Selena's apartment from the management. 

When Selena had just woken up, Aldric was sitting on the living room sofa with a cup of cappuccino. Pretending he was the owner of this apartment. Oh, my goodness! A man with no manners! 

Selena squealed in surprise. "What are you doing here?" 

"Waiting for you, what else?" Aldric glanced at the clock on the wall, then continued his sentence, "Apparently you're a lazy girl. It's already nine in the morning and you're just getting out of bed." 

"None of your business!" 

"Of course it's my business because today you have to go with me."

"What right do you have to boss me around?" 

"As a good future husband, it's only right that I take care of you." 

Selena chuckled, noting the tall, well-built body clad in a plain T-shirt and shorts. It was a casual look but in no way detracted from Aldric's charm. Ah, why praise the man again, anyway?

"Instead of caring about me, you're invading my privacy. Go away!" 

Instead of leaving, Aldric chuckled as he got up from the sofa and walked over to Selena. "Don't act like you don't want me to come. Now you can throw away all the photos in your room, because from now on you can admire my good looks in person. Even when you get married, you can not only see it, but also touch it." 

Selena widened her eyes, how did Aldric know about those pictures? Instantly, her face heated up. 

"Ah yes, it turns out that you also have the habit of hugging the bolster when you fall asleep." Aldric chuckled again. 

What? Selena widened her eyes. Aldric even knew how Selena fell asleep, meaning that the man had secretly entered her room? Geez, it was lucky that Selena slept in her long cherry blossom pajamas tonight. Can you imagine if she was wearing a sexy nightgown. Argh...! 

"And after marriage, you don't have to bother hugging the bolster anymore. You can hug me all you want. Isn't that fun?" 

Selena struggled to swallow her saliva. "With all due respect, please leave this place, sir!" 

"Don't be a hypocrite!" Aldric pulled Selena's body into his arms. Selena's body was trembling even more. If Selena screamed, would anyone hear her? This man was very reckless. But, ah... why does being in the embrace of these sturdy arms feel so warm? 

Selena! There you go again! Don't fall for Aldric's trickery! 

"Let go!" The girl struggled, but Aldric's grip was too strong. 

"I'll only let you go if you're willing to go with me." 

"Sorry, I'm busy. There's a lot of work at the boutique." 

Aldric laughed. "Hey Baby, it's Sunday, don't think I didn't know you had the day off. Your friend Dea told me about it."

Dea? Traitor! She's in cahoots with Aldric? Just watch out, Selena will grab Dea later, if necessary until her hair falls out and her head is bald. 

"Dea doesn't know that I have overtime today. Mr. David assigned me to-" 

"Even this second I can call your boss and ask him to fire you." 

"No!" Selena shouted hysterically. Again, a rich man with all the power! At this point, what could Selena do? Rejecting Aldric was tantamount to destroying her career. 

"So you're willing to go with me?" 

"Where?" 

"Wherever you want. We just need time to get to know each other better. Maybe you'd like to meet my family too."

Is Selena not mistaken? She's going to get acquainted with a prominent family? And she was also going to become the daughter-in-law of the famous Mr. Darren Anderson?

Geez, if this is a dream, please don't wake Selena up! She still wants to enjoy this beautiful dream! 

"I know that I have no power to refuse. So, now let me go, sir." 

Aldric released his embrace, letting the cold sweaty body take three steps back. "You can get ready now. Ah yes, one more thing you must remember. Stop calling me Master, you are not my servant. You are my future wife." 

"Then-" 

"Call me Aldric." 

"But-" 

"Don't argue so much. Change your clothes now or I'll kiss you right now." 

Selena hurriedly turned around and half ran towards the room. From now on she had to be careful. Aldric's eyes and ears were everywhere. It could even be that the man had his ears on the walls of Selena's room.

Aldric waited in the living room for a long time. Until finally, the girl came out of the room with a simple outfit. Navy jeans combined with a white T-shirt. Her long hair was braided at the back. 

Aldric massaged his forehead. Why did Selena's hair have to be braided? It was Rania's favorite hairstyle. Apparently the two girls did have a lot in common. Then how could Selena make Aldric turn away from Rania? 

"I'm ready," Selena said softly, almost inaudibly. 

"We're leaving now," Aldric replied.

Is Selena not mistaken? She's going to get acquainted with a prominent family? And she was also going to become the daughter-in-law of the famous Mr. Darren Anderson?

"I'm sorry in advance, but I haven't agreed to the... marriage yet."

"I like my job. And I'm not ready to leave my profession."
