Who is She?

"You're out already. Alright, lie down on the bed." Guan Tong was startled by the sound of Lu Han opening the door.

Lu Han obediently lay down on the bed and closed his eyes. Guan Tong admired Lu Han's endurance. Because the algidity in Lu Han's body was strong, the process of acupuncture was excruciating, but Lu Han was able to push through the severe pain. Guan Tong understood why the Lu family could be secure in Lu Han's hands.

"Alright." For Lu Han, the difficult period had already passed.

"Okay." As she packed the needles, Guan Tong said, "I want to go see Grandmother tomorrow."

Lu Han was supposed to go with Guan Tong, but the entire Lu family knew that he had woken up already. There was already a commotion, so he had to go to the company and deal with all sorts of business matters.

"Okay, I'll get a driver to take you there tomorrow." Lu Han's original intention was to prevent Guan Tong from exhaustion, but Guan Tong misunderstood. She thought Lu Han wanted to send someone there to spy on her.

"Okay." Guan Tong did not refuse.

In the blink of an eye, it was the next day. Guan Tong carefully hid her medical book. This was the so-called heirloom that the Lin family had always wanted if she was not wrong.

When Guan Tong arrived at the hospital, she saw her grandmother's attending doctor.

"Doctor, how has my grandmother been these past few days?" She asked.

"Oh, it's you. Your grandmother's condition has been stabilized, but if she wakes up, we'll have to take a look again." The doctor turned his head and saw that it was Guan Tong. 

Guan Tong had already mentally prepared herself before she came. "Okay, thank you, Doctor Liang."

Doctor Liang looked at Guan Tong as if she was his daughter. This child was so sad. Doctor Liang patted Guan Tong's shoulder to comfort her. "Child, don't worry. Good things happen to good people. Your grandmother will be fine." 

The doctor knew that when Guan Tong's grandmother was still awake, she was the most admirable and the kindest out of all people. Doctor Liang recalled how good of a person grandmother was.

"Thank you, Doctor Liang." Guan Tong smiled as she answered. 

"Now, quick. Let's go and see your grandmother." Doctor Liang invited Guan Tong into the room.

"Okay." She nervously agreed. 

When Guan Tong entered, she saw a beam of warm sunlight shining on her grandmother's face. The ambiance was calm and peaceful, and her grandmother looked no different from before. Guan Tong sniffed when she saw her grandmother. It would be great if she were awake right now. Guan Tong sat on the chair and held her grandmother's hand.

"Grandmother, do you know that there have been bad people wanting to hurt me these days?" Guan Tong was still like a little girl when she was with her grandmother.

"But Grandmother, don't worry. I've already chased them all away." Guan Tong laughed as she spoke, crying and laughing simultaneously as if it was the embodiment of her whole life.

When Guan Tong came out of the hospital, it was already dark. Guan Tong only wanted to stay with her grandmother for a while, but she didn't expect it to be this late. Guan Tong walked into the underground parking lot. The driver of the Lu family was there. 

She felt that something was wrong. She felt that someone was following her. Guan Tong turned her body and hid behind a pillar. Sure enough, she saw a man wearing a cap and a mask behind her. When he saw that Guan Tong was gone, he looked around for her. There was still some distance between her and the driver of the Lu family. If she took care of this man here, no one would know. As for the surveillance cameras, Guan Tong had a plan to lead the man in the cap away from the cameras.

Then, she started moving.

"Are you looking for me?" Guan Tong appeared and said to the man innocently. When the man saw Guan Tong's face, he knew that he had found the right person. The employer had been told that this girl was hideous with prominent scars on her face. It seemed like he got the right girl.

"Little girl. You sure are brave." As the man spoke, he started attacking Guan Tong. 

"I have destroyed the surveillance cameras here. Even if you die here today, no one will know." The man said as he started to attack Guan Tong.

Guan Tong dodged the man's attack. She raised her eyebrows. The surveillance cameras had been destroyed? Things were going her way. She did not need to expend any effort to lure the man to a place without surveillance cameras. 

The man was surprised when he saw Guan Tong dodge his attack. He didn't expect Guan Tong to know any combat skills, and she was pretty agile too. It seemed that the man had underestimated this ugly little girl.

Guan Tong scoffed. If this man intended to kill her, he would find that she was not an easy task.

"Who sent you?" Guan Tong asked.

"Are you supposed to know my employer's information?" As he spoke, the man attacked Guan Tong again.

Since the man didn't answer, Guan Tong didn't blame him. She increased her strength and changed her strategy from a defense to an offense. Guan Tong continued to beat the man as he retreated step by step.

"Are you going to go away on your own, or should I have someone carrying you out?" She threatened. 

The man was frozen by the malicious intent in Guan Tong's eyes. She wasn't an ordinary girl. If he kept on persisting, he knew he would be the one who would die. The girl's eyes that he saw were the eyes of someone who had killed a person before.

With that thought in mind, the man quickly scurried away. Guan Tong did not know that what had happened was seen by a pair of eyes not too far away.

Lu Han had just finished dealing with the company's matters when he rushed over to see her. Unexpectedly, he saw the scene in front of him. Guan Tong's every move was like something he'd seen on a battlefield. Lu Han wondered who Guan Tong truly was?
