I'm Your Husband

Yu Han rushed his grandmother to a room and asked Lady Yao to call the doctor. Feng Xi also walked into the room when Yu Han stopped her. 

"Leave the room!" Yu Han said while controlling his anger. He didn't glance in her direction and covered his grandmother with the comforter. 

Feng Xi's eyes were already misty, but his remark made her cry. She wiped her tears and ran out. On the other hand, Lady Yao informed Yu Han that she had called the doctor. 

"Did Grandma take her meals on time? What about the medicines?" Yu Han asked from the close attendant of Grandma Shen. 

"Young Master, I did my duty well. Madam Shen had her medicines at the time," Lady Bao said in her humble tone. 

"I think it's because Young Master Yu Han suddenly screamed at his wife. Madam Shen has a weak heart," Lady Yao stated, causing Yu Han to glare at her. 

"It all happened because of Zi Xuan. Gosh! I don't even want to take his name. It makes my blood boil," Yu Han muttered and held the hand of his grandmother. Lady Yao decided to check on Feng Xi and left the room. 

Doctor Zhang shortly arrived at the house who was their family doctor too.

"Grandma suddenly fainted. Please examine her," Yu Han told him with a concerned look. Doctor Zhang opened his briefcase and took out the stethoscope along with the BP machine. He checked both the heart rate and blood pressure of Madam Shen. 

"Madam Shen is perfectly fine. The sugar seems low to me. She'll be awake shortly," Doctor Zhang advised Yu Han after making his general observation. 

"Oh. I'm glad it's nothing serious," Yu Han said. Lady Bao stepped up and told Doctor Zhang she would show him the way out. Once they left, Yu Han sat on the mattress and held the hands of his grandmother. 

After waiting for an hour, Yu Han finally heard his grandmother's voice, who affectionately called out his name. 

"Grandma!" Yu Han looked at her and helped her to sit up. He placed pillows behind her and then prepared a glass of water for her. 

"What was that, Yu Han? You screamed at my granddaughter-in-law," Grandma Shen complained and took the glass from him. She took slow sips of water. 

"She deserves this, Grandma," Yu Han said in annoyance. He took the glass from her and placed it on the bedside table. 

"This isn't a way you should treat your wife," Grandma Shen stated. 

"I treat her gently, Grandma. How dare she meet Zi Xuan and call him her boyfriend? They both even planned for a divorce! Also, Zi Xuan isn't a nice person. He dates multiple women at once. That bastard!" Yu Han ended up cursing him but controlled himself to see his grandmother. 

"Feng Xi didn't have time to break up with Xiao Xuan. Also, Xiao Xuan isn't the kind of man you describe him as. I feel you should be more respectful toward your cousin. Also, Feng Xi has no fault in this. Can you not treat her with love?" Grandma Shen didn't believe that Zi Xuan played with many women's hearts. All she knew was that these were some strange rumors about her grandson. 

Yu Han had a lot on his mind against Zi Xuan, but he could not speak more about that since he had no evidence regarding his cousin's wrongdoings. "Grandma shall eat something. You should spend the night here and in the morning, I will send you to the old Shen Residence," he stated. 

Lady Bao returned with a tray in her hand as she brought a healthy vegetable soup for her. "Young Master, I will feed the soup to Madam Shen," she asserted. 

"I feel good. I want to go back to the old residence," Grandma Shen affirmed. 

"Grandma won't go to the old residence today. She will stay here today," Yu Han affirmed. "Please finish this soup and take some rest," he opined. 

"Okay, I will stay here. But you have to make up with Feng Xi. Why do you have to hurt her? She had to marry you because of a promise. However, now it is your duty to take care of her. Feng Xi left her house, so she should not be treated this way," Grandma Shen explained. 

"I understand, Grandma," Yu Han said nonchalantely. 

"There will be reception for you both after two days. I want you to learn about your wife," Grandma Shen remarked. 

Yu Han turned quiet and just nodded to her. "The soup is getting colder. Grandma should have it and take rest," he again suggested and gazed at Lady Bao, who stepped up to place the tray on the bedside table.

"Your mother will be at the wedding reception. She talked to me yesterday. Why didn't you pick up her calls recently?" Grandma Shen suddenly recalled about that. 

"Why should I even talk to her? She is not related to me in any way," Yu Han proclaimed and told his grandmother they would talk about this some other day. He rose to his feet and left the room. 

"Do you think my Yu Han will ever fall in love? He has turned indifferent toward the people," Grandma Shen said with a worried look on her face. 

Yu Han pushed open the door of his bedroom and saw Feng Xi seated on the bed. Seeing Yu Han, Feng Xi asked about Grandma Shen. 

"She has woken up. Sorry for the earlier. Don't ever see Zi Xuan. I will break his legs if I see you with him ever again," Yu Han stated and headed to the washroom when he recalled something and turned his head slightly. 

"Who is this Chen Chen? How many men do you admire at once?" His possessiveness was visible in his tone. 

"Why should I tell you?" Feng Xi mumbled. 

Yu Han chuckled and said, "I am your husband, so you should admire me not the other men." He then headed to the washroom and closed the door with a loud bang.
