Kidney transplant successful and baby.....

The following morning, Dr Cartel came to check on my mother in law and I, he also told her she should be ready for her surgery and also me as her donor should be ready too. At this point, I was so confused.

Donor, Dr Cartel what do you mean by me being a donor what I'm I donating Dr Cartel, please tell me. I plead with Dr Cartel to please explain further.

I don't understand you Vivienne its

 something you signed up for or were you that desperate not to know what it's means by kidney transplant. Dr Cartel replied.

I'm not getting it Dr, what are you saying, I only signed a contract marriage and agreed to Take care of Mrs Daisy Richmond. This isn't fair mom, I said to my mother- in-law and Aaron walked in.

Aaron, can you tell me what's going on? I asked him 

You signed a contract that you were going to do a kidney transplant for my mom, besides I'm paying your family for this. Aaron replied.

Paying my family? How do you mean Aaron, I asked him out of curiosity. I thought they have got to know I opened a business for my dad, besides that wasn't payment I took it from up keep money .

Your friend and her mother asked them. Aaron replied.

What friend are you talking about? I asked Aaron still looking confused.

Don't act doom with me. Aaron said to me. 

I am not. I don't just understand what you are saying. I said to him.

Your friend Mary Parker and her mother. Aaron said. 

And immediately I understood what he has been saying. That means Mary told Aaron that I am her friend and I needed to safe my father. 

She doesn't want her boyfriend to find out I am her sister who she send to marry him. Now I understand why her and her mother send me to marry Aaron she never want to donate her kidney to his mother. 

This is unbelievable Aaron, is this the reason your mom have been putting up this attitude all this while, I only signed a contract marriage not a kidney transplant Aaron. I said with tears in my eyes.

But you signed to take care of mom and also to do a kidney transplant that you will be paid for throughout the five years of our contract marriage you signed that the money should paid to your family account. Aaron replied.

This is too much to bear, my step mother and my step sister Mary Parker must pay for this, they will surely pay for this, this money wasn't even used for my dad's treatment let alone feeding him a day I used my savings from my up keep money to pay my dad's hospital bills and also taking care of him after he was discharge. I said to no one in particular but myself since I didn't want him to find out I am related to Mary Parker.

This is very unbelievable, how can I sign a contract to be a donor without knowing, Dr Cartel. I said turning to face Dr cartel. 

It's it written here Vivienne Parker. Dr Cartel replied. I looked at the document it then down on me that a truly signed a contract to do a kidney transplant, my step mother and my step sister Mary Parker really wanted to make my life miserable.

Dr Cartel, I called out to the Dr, please can a pregnant woman survive a kidney transplant?

Are you pregnant? Aaron asked .

Yes I'm pregnant. I replied.

She's lying Dr Cartel and besides who cares about her pregnancy. My mother-in-law cut in.

Mom, why will say that, Dr Cartel please run a pregnancy test on me. I said 

No need for that Vivienne Parker. Aaron said. I don't need the baby. He added.

Aaron I know you never wanted a baby from me but it's not my fault I got pregnant, it's your child Aaron. I said soberly.

You only signed a five years contract marriage so why the pregnancy Vivienne, you are my substitute, yes you are a very nice and amazing person but you will always remain my substitute. Aaron said, I didn't forced you to sign this contract, he added.

With every harsh word Aaron said to me it felt like a knife cutting my heart. It was so unbearable for me to hear him say does words to me. 

All these years, I have done nothing but to love him despite the fact that he always calls me a substitute and now he is not only rejecting me but our baby too.

All because of Mary Parker and her mother. I said to myself.

Doctor, please will I and my baby be survive these operation? I asked the doctor after a long silence.

Don't worry Vivienne you will be fine, you and your baby will be. Dr Cartel said and I followed him. 

I woke up after two days, thanks heaven she's awake, it was Dr Cartel.

Dr please how is my baby, I asked him. Vivienne everything in you is fine. He said while pecking my tummy. I was surprised I couldn't utter a word all I could do was to stare at him.

You are a nice and amazing person. he said and pecked me on my forehead. I know you are left with just one kidney, I'm sorry all this is happening to you but I wouldn't blame Richmond family but your family. He added.

 How, about Aaron and his mother Mrs Daisy Richmond, I asked

 She's recovering. He replied and Aaron walked in. 

Vivienne how are you doing, Aaron asked and pecked me on my forehead. All I was thinking about was Dr Cartel pecked on my tummy and forehead. I'm good I managed to replies.

How is mom? I asked, she is good though she can't sit up yet. Aaron replied.

I can't sit up too. I said to him. 

I'm very sorry Vivienne, how is the baby. Aaron asked touching my tummy. Sometimes Aaron Richmond can be so emotional truly no one can detect his next step.

But right now, I am not interested in his emotional words because it will never change the fact that he doesn't love me. And right now I don't too.

 But why will my mother- in-law law do such a thing, changing her attitude towards me just because she needed a kidney transplant I don't really have to blame her. I said to myself.

Dr Cartel said the baby is fine. I replied.

I will be in my office. Vivienne let me know when you need my attention. Dr Cartel said to me.

Please Dr Cartel don't go, Aaron won't stay too long please I need someone to be here with me. I said to Dr Cartel without looking at Aaron.

I will be right back Vivienne, I have to check on Aaron's mother she needs my attention too. Dr Cartel said and left.

I'm here Vivienne I won't leave until the Dr Cartel returns. Aaron said to me.

I didn't utter a word , I didn't want him around me, they have really hurt me more than I could bear besides he doesn't accept my pregnancy but I won't terminate it I will keep my baby. I said to myself. Aaron sat closer and drew me to himself but I immediately free myself from him and turned my head so it could face the wall and I slept.
