Team Training (49)

Training in teams were announced, when everyone shows I explain how teams will work. "2 females and 2 males, the females will be fighting the same as males. In order for this to work you need to know everything about your teammates. What are their strengths and weaknesses? What makes them tick and why?", I start to explain.

"The first 14 days you will learn about your team. Then the next 14 days after that will be wound care. Medic training. Then we can start hand to hand combat. Your team will be where you spend most of your training. You will live, eat and sleep as teams.", I continue.

Alpha will be starting this training as I have research to do. I will see you in one week. I expect you to be ready. "If you have a mate or family then we will give you hours off with them. Otherwise it is your team 24/7. I want to be able to see you move as a unit. I leave you in good hands while I do some research.", Ken takes over. Then I leave with Clem to find information about giants and monsters they use in war.

Clem drives while I type in the computer all of our questions and a list of information we think we know. If we are going to find anything we need to get acquainted with what truths we have already. Then sort through the lies. Finally get information about the war of the monsters and how it will effect the kingdom of werewolves.

Things we think we know about monsters fighting with or for giants: trolls, cyclops and orges.

Things we want to know about which monsters may join the giants in the war: How many different kinds of monsters may join the giants? How many different kinds of monsters may join us? How can we insure that they join us?

Ken mind links me, "I'm loving these teams, great job lil bro. Today they were falling all over themselves. It was absolutely was hysterical. I just couldn't stop laughing. I sure hope you know what you're doing with this."

"Yeah, it will take a couple of weeks for them to learn each other, just wait and see. After the 2 weeks wait another 3 days then log them in as teams and they should mark themselves with a silver knife. Each team member cuts a small line in their hand and then mingle the blood together by holding hands. They will then receive a team tattoo from the Moon Goddess. They feel a connection with each team member. I would wait on teams with conflict. Its almost as strong as a mate mark. They should be unmated wolves. The mated wolves can do it as well but, will need to be all male or all female teams. Nothing to take lightly.", I report. We are still learning about teams.

"How is the research going by the way? Did you and Clem find anything much?", Ken asks. "We have found information about giants and the monsters. I think that we need to move fast on these monsters. Our best chance may be the watchers.", I say nervously.

"Watchers? I haven't heard of anyone using the watchers since 1873.", Ken sighs. "I found an article stating that a Royal can wake a watcher for any purpose. If we wake a watcher for war they will stay with the Royal Warrior until peace rules the land for 100 years. If the watcher feels like the Royal family is in danger they will wake other watchers.", I say.

"I can't wait to have you guys back", Ken says. "We will be back asap.", I tell him. Then Clem and I board the plane for Salem. We are going to visit a Warlock that knows about watchers. Watchers are creatures that were created to protect the Royal Family. I just want information about them and where I might be able to find one if I decide to wake one.

The Warlock Marvin explains the history of the watchers and how we can wake one. He tells me where they sleep and that I have to be very careful. I only want to wake one so I need to follow the instructions to the exact letter.

Clem and I fly over to the castle where I was born. I show her around and walk the grounds. We train together and sleep in my room. I struggle with wanting to mark her and mate her but I know its too early. She hasn't been 17 that long and I know it's best to wait until she is 18.

I cuddle up to her back and fall asleep right away. We will go home to Australia tomorrow and everything will be train, train, train. Teams are going to be unique and difficult to get ready for war. I couldn't be happier to have Clementine at the castle. Everyone got to meet her and I am very proud to show off my mate.

We board the flight for Australia and home sweet home. Both of us are exhausted and really just want to get home. We are ready to take over the training of the teams. We are ready to start planning for war. Clem and I have bonded over this research project. We have much more to do.

"Ken, if you could please arrange transportation for us we are on our way home.", I mind link. "Oh yeah can I ever. I can't wait to get my warrior back. My trainer extraordinaire and his lovely little helper.", he responds quickly.

I lead Clem off the plane and into the limousine. "I finally feel like I can breathe and relax. I was very happy to be with you, see the palace and enjoy the States. I am just even happier to be home. Where I feel like we belong. I hope you feel the same way too Russ. I feel like we will be mates and that makes me feel whole. I know that you have been with me lately all the time but I can actually smell you now. I was confused before because I wasn't sure. I know you can't tell me or help me discover it but I am starting to feel the pull. I know we have several months before it happens. I just want you to know I'm feeling it.", Clementine says to me very softly.

"Clementine I will wait as long as it takes. I respect you and want everything to be perfect for you. Fate will lead you to where you belong and you already know that I love you Baby Girl.", I pull her into my embrace. "I love you too Russ.", she brushes my lips with hers.

Back at the pack house we go up to our room and sleep. Early the next morning we are both ready at 5 to begin training. We slice our hands and become a team. Our tattoo is of the 4 main stages of the moon with a star in the bottom position and the ecliptic stage at the center of the star top point. The stages are new at the top, first quarter on the left and on the right is the last quarter, in the very center of everything is the full moon. It looks like everything is rotating around the full moon.

I really want Anastasia and Ken to join our team but I'll wait to see what they want. He has a Beta who has been with him longer. I have taken a position of Royal Warrior and Trainer in the pack. Although I am a Prince I don't want to be King.

When the other teams come in I ask how many teams have joined the pack team process. Everyone has which is exciting news. We all look over everyone's tattoo. I love all the designs. They all are on the inside of the wrist which is nice. We all dress in black as well. This helps us know who is on our side.

"Now that everyone is established as a team member and have had time to learn strengths as well as weaknesses we can start the next process of building on them. Each team will have a moon stage I believe. I think I saw them correctly. Ours has the five major changes with a star but teams one through nine have a stage. Team one is New Moon, two is Waxing Crescent Moon, three is First Quarter Moon, four is Waxing Gibbous Moon, five is Full Moon, six is Waning Gibbous Moon, seven is Last Quarter, eight is Waning Crescent Moon and nine is the Eclipse. Teams ten, eleven and twelve have a different kind of tattoo. Team ten is a wolf, eleven is the wolf howling at the moon and twelve is the moon, three stars with a wolf. The stars are the past, present and future.", I explain to everyone.

"All of the female teams will train with Clementine for now, and all of the male teams will be with me. All mixed teams will be with us both. Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be mixed teams. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday will be male or female teams.", I say to them.

"Today we will watch each team to see where you need improvement.", Clementine states. "Team one please step up and show us what you have learned so far.", Ken says. Ken turns to me and says, "I am happy to see you. After today they are in your hands."

"Will you and your Beta join a team? What about Anastasia and his mate Claudia?", Clementine asks Ken. "I haven't decided where I will join but I think my Beta should stay back just incase he needs to take over as Alpha. Ana will need to be with our pups. Claudia should be with Ana and Mick.", Ken responds. "If I can make a suggestion, why don't you and Ana join us. Then she will have our connection and you will have family as your team.", Clem states.

Ken thinks about this and agrees it is a good strategy. We are ready to start medic training. For two weeks we focus on how we as a team can help our wolves heal faster. We also talk about how it will be if a wolf dies in battle.

Clem arranges for every wolf to have spa time and relax before the next stage of team building begins. She also has planned a great luncheon for the wolves. She is so terrific and I love everything about her. Her wolf is just as beautiful and now that she is training her witch side with spells she has grown into a great warrior.

The training has been 8 hours every day except Sunday. I plan a date for Clementine and I. I want to take her in a hot air balloon. It's nice and warm now that we are in summer. I think she will love a picnic in the air.

Our warriors are stronger than ever and the teams are doing wonders. The thought has been in my head for a long time about waking a watcher. I ask Clem to go with me to wake one. Our date is spectacular and we talk about going to wake a watcher.

I make arrangements for our trip to wake the watcher. We fly to Napal. The most beautiful valley in the world is in Barun. The rhododendron forrest and the orchids look like they float among the clouds. This beautiful location is where the watchers sleep. I have to be very careful about waking only one. These sleeping giants are not very good with social skills.

The minute we get to the valley I start the instructions for waking a watcher. I close my eyes, wrap my arms around Clem and say the words the warlock told us. I open my eyes and see nothing at first. Suddenly the clouds lift and there stands hundreds of giant watchers asleep. The next step is to kneel before the watcher you want to wake. The say a few words about your mission. He or she will wake and test you as Royal.

I successfully woke a watcher, he tests my blood, he also knows Clem is my mate and that war is coming.
