Growing Pains (70)

We have had the best time with our pups. The twins birthday is in 3 days. Raven has the cutest party planned for the pack to meet our first Born Twins. Multiple pups are rare to most families, so wolves want to see our twins. The theme of the party is Wild Ones. Dad of the wild ones and mom of the wild ones are our t-shirts. The twins have wild one on each of their shirts as well.

The other 7 will be inside with Samsin. They don't get to meet the pack for another 9 months. One year old pups are stronger than infants. They can finally be called toddlers. The infants are all developing well. They are thriving. Raven will wean them at 6 months old just because feeding them all hurts her breast to carry enough milk for 7. We add formula at intervals now and will be completely on formula at 6 months.

Samsin has been so helpful. She knows what to do about just about everything. Raven and I have learned much. I think our bond with the pups might be deeper than most parents because we get that one on one interaction with all 9 children. We both make sure we get a few minutes daily. I take 4 each day and she gets 4. One special pup gets to pick who they want the afternoon with. It could be any of the pack, grands, samsin, myself or Raven. Then they get up to 3 hours just with that person.

As we have grown we have had a few growing pains. The first time was right after the pups came home. They took up so much more space. We had to get organized and learn to be efficient. I think that the female wolves were much better at this than any of us males. I know I felt like a chicken with its head off.

Several times I have had to lean on my Luna Queen. She has gotten me out of many jams. One such jam was caused by my big mouth. I said that my wife could cook better than any other Luna. Well that caused an uproar from all the Alpha's. So I went to Raven and asked what I should do, she suggested we hold a cook off to raise money for less fortunate wolves.

The cook off was the best ever. We had so much food and made so much money. The ladies really outdid themselves. All the wolves who wanted to join paid a fee. Plus the items were sold by individual tickets. So, if you wanted to eat you bought tickets. This made it fair for everyone involved. The more you sold the more you earned in votes/tickets.

Raven made 12 sweet potato pies, 12 pumpkin pies, 10 cakes, and 8 main dishes. They were gone in minutes. Her votes totaled 360. At the end of the night she placed 2nd because one of the Omegas from another pack sold 400 tickets. We asked her alpha if we could hire her on staff. He agreed that it was a good opportunity but only if she wanted to go. It would require moving and we didn't know how she would feel.

After asking Omega Lauren about it she agreed as long as she could visit her friends and family. They could visit her too. She was hired to be one of the chefs for the warriors. This was such a good fit for everyone involved because turns out one of the warriors was actually her mate. Lauren and Bill have been inseparable since their mating ceremony.

Raven loves having all the females around all the time. She trains them, she counsels them, and just loves on them. Our wolves have become much stronger because of her. All of the Alpha's talk about how much the Kingdom has improved with Raven as Queen. I know that this means great danger for her because other wolves will want to take her from me.

I haven't had to fight for her but it might be close. The kingdom will have a festival soon to bring in Spring and that is often times when other wolves try to fight for mates of other wolves. It's a horrible thing to take ones mate away from them but I didn't ban the practice because it makes the mates truly stay loyal to their mate. Even a female can fight for another male.

The birthday party for the wild ones is a great hit. Our pack loves on the Royal Twins. They are so excited to see and meet our pups that it really makes the day go well. After lunch we have cake. The twins have their first sweets. It was so fun watching them get the zoomies in human form. When we get 9 wolves that will be the fun time....NOT! Can you just imagine 9 teenagers at once?

We can worry over that later. Most wolves come at age 16, few come early. I will make sure our pups learn to drive before the wolves come. It's hard enough to get your wolf at 16, but learning to drive too. The human law is so ridiculous.

For now I just want to protect my family and take care of the kingdom. We start a new protocol for rogue wolves. I want to stop the killing of them. Some are actually good people. So, now you have 2 weeks to petition the crown for a new pack. We will interview why you were expelled or ran from your last pack. Then we will give the wolf a series of test. Finally we will ask packs, who might be a good fit, if they are willing to try the rogue out. Most have been great. The ones who are out because of trouble are brought here to be watched. They are sent to the dungeon if they miss step again.

We have so many programs for wolves. Many packs send a few here and there. Some bring the pack for summer programs, others 2 week refreshers. The kingdom has improved immensely, grown stronger, and the wolves are thriving. Our enemies have seen our improvements and they have backed off. Packs are no longer going after each other but joining together to take out common enemies.

I bring in Alphas to train them in how to rule with justice not fear. This has made all the Alphas stronger. The small packs are now growing strong and healthy. They are making enough money to support their pack better. The Larger packs have stopped eating the smaller one and now grow by eating human land, so to speak. Like they will buy the land needed and not fight for it.

We grew so fast in our own home that the growing pains were big. First it was just pampers and furniture. Then clothes, formula and cereal. Now it's fruit, time, and toys. Each thing adding to the one before it. We would need a passenger van for any family outing soon. Not to mention that the Moon Goddess blessed our 7 in secret and the changes coming our way would be life altering.

Grant and Lillian were so blessed plus they were our first born. The moon Goddess had given our 7 something that would change the way we ruled the kingdom. Their Grandfather had blessed them as a unit with the ability to see evil. I still don't know how it will change the kingdom but I know it will. Adam, Beckham, Colin, Daisy, Echo, Farah and Gabriel were going to be a force to be reckoned with.

The boys were all super strong personalities even without their wolf and snake. The girls were the strongest in the kingdom because I can already feel it. The 7 in one room is overwhelming as is. My Royal Alpha has a hard time suppressing their combination power.

Raven has been tired a lot and I know she needs some girl time. I secretly set up a little girl time. Patti her best friend is Luna in Scotland. I want them to have a little one on one with Nessie. I start making plans for the girls to relax a few days. I can't wait to surprise her. I know she won't feel like leaving us but I'll sweet talk her into it.

I love my little Raven so very much and I just want to make sure she doesn't feel the weight of all these growing pains on her shoulders. I try my best to give her as much help as possible. I know that her job is 3 in one, Queen, Luna, and mom. Well plus a full time job as my mate, I can be needy.

She has been my backbone more than once. She would see I was having a difficult time with a judgment call or punishment, she would slip her hand into mine and calmly state the judgment needed. It was like she knew when I needed her support. I am the luckiest Alpha King ever.

I had talked to my dad several times about how she would just know sometimes. He said that the Moon Goddess had selected Raven for me and groomed her to be my Queen/Luna/Mate. It was true Raven was a very good Queen. Knowing she was the Queen of the Gypsy clan made me feel much better. I knew she was strong. Her father hadn't chosen a Queen after Raven's mother had died. So this made Raven Queen.

Our Kingdoms merged into one automatically. She was Queen of both Gypsy and Wolf. This made her protective over both. Her father stayed with us constantly and we were happy with it. I even added a Gypsy throne for him. Now when the throne room was open to our constituents both wolf and gypsy would approach the throne.

This made life much easier as it had gotten busier. We took turns as the monarch of the day. We could rule together and no one opposed us. Everyone knew after Raven's father died she would continue to rule until her offspring would rule. That means that one child would rule wolves and the other gypsies. Unless the rule continues like this as a merged kingdom.

I hope they remain joined. I think this is what the Moon Goddess wanted all along. A merge of 2 Kingdoms. I wouldn't be surprised if she merges the snakes as well. Because of our children being all 3. It is so strange to know my children are 3 in one human. Wolf/Snake/Gypsy sounds weird but so right. I think that the Moon Goddess is giving a little bit of magic to the wolves thru us.

Our 9 pups would be part human, with a wolf and a snake, and the magic of the Gypsy. Anastasia has magic in her pups as well. A shift in the paranormal world had begun. The Moon Goddess was pulling her wolves deeper. She has such a strong love for her creations.

I am taking Raven on a very special lunch date. We need to just get some alone time. I plan to make her feel special. She has on a very cute Royal blue dress.
