02 We Broke Up

Han Jixiao also went out of the bar and goes back to the hotel. Her phone rings when she reached her apartment, it was Li Meiqing; her secretary. Han Jixiao picked up her phone to answer it.

"CEO Han, the board meeting will starts at 1:00 in the afternoon." Li Meiqing reminds her.

"I'll be there after one hour." She said and hung up the phone and immediately take a shower to sent away the scent of the liquor on her body.

She reached the office 11:30 am and she still have time to read the documents she didn't read yesterday evening.

Hours have passed and the meeting starts. Its really natural for her to don't get bored, she have a long patience and endurance in everything she did. 6 hours have passed and they're still on the meeting. Many of the stock shareholders seems so tired and bored, but they saw their Ceo still listening to the speaker and gives her opinion to everything the speaker says. She also asks for their advice and what they needed to do to make their stacks higher and also to satisfied their customers desires.

After 1 hour, the meeting ended. Han Jixiao's delivery orders came, it was from a high end exquisite cuisine. She bowed to the people around her and gesture her left hand to serve the food. "Thanks for all of your hard work my dear colleagues. I know that all of you are tired, here's a meal to show my sincerity."

"It's our responsibility and duty, CEO Han. No need to thank us for that." One of the shareholders said.

"Yeah! Thanks for also treating us, CEO Han."

After they eat, they bid farewell to each other, but Han Jixiao still stays in her office. Li Meiqing was standing besides Han Jixiao and asked, "Is there anything else I can do for you? CEO Han?"

"Go home now, its dangerous to go home this late. I'll let my driver send you." She said and called her driver to send her secretary home.

Li Meiqing blushed and tried to hide her face. Her CEO Han was really different from the rumors. CEO Han was not cold and aloof to her colleague, she's only like that because she don't want other businessmen to take a huge step up and get advantage for having a backup. She want them to stand up on their own and overcome their potential.

Han Jixiao believes that once someone get some advantage because of someone's backing, they will never work hard and there's not even a cushion to take them from their fall.

Han Jixiao was the only one in her office, all the workers get off from their work. Its 10:00 in the evening, she take out her phone and dialed a number. "Investigate Zhou Shen for me." She hung up the line after she said what she need to say when the another line pick it up.

After an hour, someone send an email to her and she print it out. She saw the information about Zhou Shen.

Zhou Shen, 23 years old; born in xx/xx/xx graduated from Business Harry College School in U.S. ... ... ...

Han Jixiao frowned when she saw where Zhou Shen graduated from. She's also from this school, is it just a coincidence? She read all of the information related to that man and knows that he's a country bumpkin from the village and that, he also entered to a ordinary school in his highschool. He just immediately gone out of nowhere and no one from the village knows where he went. It was the day he studied from U.S.

After 2 years, (he was 18 yrs old) and get a job in Sun Corporation. It was also the day he got in a relationship with Ji Ling; his only girlfriend.

Zhou Shen's mother was in a hospital because his mother need a transplant of bone marrow; his mother was confined when he was 18. The same day he came back in City A.

Han Jixiao investigated more for his mother's condition in the hospital; she discovered that they have a same bone marrow and she immediately went to the No. 1 Hospital in City A the next day.

The transplant surgery was successful; Zhou Shen's mother, Zhou Liang was recuperating in the VIP room that Han Jixiao just assigned.

"Hello, Mrs. Zhou, I'm Xiaoxiao." Han Jixiao smiled, "I'm also your donor Mrs. Zhou." Mrs. Zhou's eyes was flaunting and thanks the beautiful kind hearted girl in front of her.

"Thank you Ms. Xiaoxiao, you're such a kind hearted girl." Mrs. Zhou said, and touch the girl's hand. Mrs. Zhou take it a pity that she don't have such a good daughter in law like her. She didn't like Ji Ling because she knows the girl's greediness for money. That girl was always bugging her son to have a dinner in a 5 Star Hotel or buy her a branded clothes.

Meanwhile, Zhou Shen just finished his work in the office. There was a stall that sells bun; he brought a five pieces of it and went to the hospital.

He opened the public ward and didn't saw his mother. He panicked and asks the nurse that was serving the other patient. "Sir, you're mother just had a surgery and was transferred to a VIP ward with the help of a young lady."

Zhou Shen walk faster but he remember that he didn't know the room number of the VIP ward her mother stays at; he goes back to the nurse and asked again and goes to the VIP ward.

There was two people in black clothes guarding the door; he ask and tapped the one of the guard, "Is this Mrs. Zhou's ward?"

"Yes."

"I'm her son." Zhou Shen seriously said and the body guard opened the door. Zhou Shen saw the girl from that day and feeding her mother while chatting with her. What else can they talk about other than Zhou Shen?

"Mom, why are you here?" he looked at her mother and the two women also looks at him. "Come here Shen! Looked at this filial girl! Its really a pity that you got seduced by that vixen." Mrs. Zhou mumbled the last sentence but they can still hear it.

Zhou Shen's eyes dimmed, "Don't mentioned her ever again. We broke up."
