31- Where's Gustave?

After that discussion with Alan and Faraday, Gustave stayed at her "home" in the facility waiting for a response from the other members of the council, doing nothing but waiting in the fireplace sipping tea.

Her head was full of thoughts on how to dispose of the girl IF, and just IF, the time comes, although she deep inside wishes for the time to come as soon as possible.

She was looking at the fire, making thousands of scenarios and what ifs where she wins, even if she was alive at the end or not.

A ringing is heard in the almost silent room, an old vintage phone is hanging from the wall, almost resembling something from the victorian era.

She stands up from her sit, leaves the plate and the cup in the table and walks towards the wall with the phone.

-Gustave.

-Hi Gus, sorry to get to you so late into the matter.

-You're as late as ever.

-Good to know my record is still going strong.

-Funny. (She said with a sarcastic voice)

- Alright I get it... so, regarding your request, everyone said no.

-I thought so.

-However, that other woman you mentioned...

-What about her?. (She said angrily, as the mention of "That" made her furious).

-We can use her. Joseph has a plan, a really good one.

-... (She growled at the phone.)

-Come on, you know he is always right with his plans.

-I know that, I still don't want to work with her.

-You know your personal grudges don't matter in the big scheme Gustave.

-I KNOW!.

-Then?.

-....I'll do it.

-Good.

-What am I even supposed to do?.

- For the time being just let her in.

-Just that?.

-Yes, just that, let her and Faraday hang out.

-How can this is ven help us?.

-Trust me, it'll make sense later. Just let them be together.

-...

-Gus, come on.

- *sigh* Alright I get it. But you'll better explain everything to me.

-I will, but not on the phone, we need a meeting with everyone.

-When?

-Sunday.

-I'll be there.

-See you then. Bye Gus.

-Bye...

She clearly doesn't like the idea, however, she knows what happens when the brain of the council has a plan, they always work. They have worked in the past.

She accepts the idea and knows what to do now, however she doesn't like to be proven wrong nor contradict herself, she said that as long as she stays there, Cecile wouldn't come back, and she will keep that promise no matter what.

For now, Gustave lays on that seat near the fireplace just wondering what is in motion right now, and she will have her answer soon.

Heya, a really short one, don't worry this won't be the norm from now on, I just wanted to release this little context as to where the witch is.

I'll deliver a Fully fledge chapter next so don't worry

see ya, love ya
