The New Shades

The Test-Subject-130's containment door opened, a man in a white all in one suit, fell to the floor screaming. The blood-curdling scream you would hear in a horror movie when someone is being brutally murdered. One that you had wished not to have heard in reality.

"CALL THE FACILITY MEDICS!!" A man yelled as he shut the automated metal doors into the room.

Test-Subject-130: Invisible creature that can take over your body when least expected. Can only be seen with infrared goggles.

Hunter walks slowly through the corridor after the conversation with his father. Suddenly co-workers ran past him towards Test-Subject-130's containment area. Hunter walked as quickly as he could then ran along with the others. As he and his fellow co-workers got to Test-Subject-130's containment area they could only watch in horror by viewing the camera footage outside the large doors. The man looked as if he was having a major seizure before everyone saw the blood which leaked through the man's mask and sprayed onto his goggles from his eyes.

"Attention all Personnel's, containment safety protocol has been breached. Please return to safe work environment." A voice said over the speakers.

Everyone was whispering to each other as they all scattered from the Test-Subject's containment doors. Hunter couldn't help but continue to watch the footage as he waited for Wolfe and his father.

"What the hell happened?!" Harold yelled as he stormed towards the doors to view the camera feedback. Paul wasn't far behind him.

"Looks like he didn't follow full safety protocol." Paul mumbled as he paused to examine the footage with Harold.

"I see that Dr Carlisle!" Harold yelled as he began to rewind the video on the screen.

Paul turned to look at Hunter who was standing a few feet behind him. Hunter was in shock at what he had just witnessed. During his time at the Containment Facility, he has never witnessed Safety Protocol Breach. Paul slowly walked towards him and placed his hand upon Hunter's shoulder. Hunter turned to look at him.

"You need to go a prepare yourself for the investigations. Your change of clothes in the office." Paul explained as he gently turned Hunter away from the view of the screen.

Hunter nodded and walked away leaving Paul watching him looking concerned. Harold was re-watching the video footage with his finger curled to his chin.

Hunter headed down the corridors. This time it was silent. Everyone was in their workstations. This is unusual for the facility but it's what has been put in place for Safety Protocol Breach. Hunter got to his father's office. The plaque on the door read "Dr P Carlisle". Hunter entered the office to find a black suit on the back of the chair. He closed the door softly then proceeded to approached the suit. Paul left a note folded in half on top of the clothing. It read "Hunter". Hunter picked it up and quickly unfolded the note.

"Just know, this wasn't my choice. I want to keep you safe from all dangers in this facility, it seems impossible. You need to wear the sunglasses as they help with wiping people's memory once you have obtained information. You can learn as you go along as Liz will guide you. Keep safe son, I love you."

Hunter folded the note again and threw it onto the desk. He sighed as he looked at the black suit and glasses.

"Here we go I guess..." Hunter grumbles to himself as he reaches for the clothes.

As Hunter finishes getting ready there was a knock at the door. Quickly he turned to the door.

"Come in." He said as he places the sunglasses into the blazer pocket.

"It's only me I'm just checking in on you before we go out on our mission." Liz smiled as she stood in the doorway.

Hunter placed his hands into his trouser pockets and shrugged. Liz closed the door behind her and slowly walked towards him. She paused before him and folded her arms. Hunter just watched her.

"I don't know what has happened, and I won't ask but... just try and be professional and leave it in here before we leave, please," Liz said as she allowed her arms to fall to her sides.

"Sure..." Hunter replied as he headed over to the door.

Hunter and Liz made their way towards the entrance of the facility. Security gave them a nod as they passed. Each member of security holds a rifle whilst guarding parts of the facility. It can feel a bit intimidating for some personnel staff. Once they passed the security checks, they made their way outside. Waiting for them was a black Audi.

"Who's driving?" Hunter asked with a slight smile. Liz threw the keys over the roof of the car towards Hunter. Hunter quickly snatched them from the air.

"You are." Liz chuckled as she climbed into the car via the passenger side. Hunter smiled as he climbed into the driver's side.

Hunter pulled the car over to the kerb. They had finally arrived on Dawson St. Liz grabbed the tablet from the passenger side door. She promptly swiped upwards on the screen which made holographic documents right before their eyes. Hunter stared in disbelief as Liz seeped documents in the air and zoomed in on Test-Subject-970.

"Nickname... The boogieman." She said as she leaned over towards Hunter for him to see the documentation.

"What are we waiting for?" Hunter smiled as he turned the ignition off and climbed out of the car whilst pulling the keys out. Liz smiled and shook her head.

Hunter put his sunglasses on, Liz did also as they approached house number 4526 on Dawson St.
