Last Will And Testament

  It's been two weeks since Joan's father was buried and they were all trying to get back to living their normal lives, but it wasn't easy, especially for Joan's mother who was finding it hard trying to navigate through life without her husband. Joan was still staying with her, as she didn't want to leave her yet, at least until after her father's will had been read. 

The family lawyer was coming over to read the will today, and Joan's aunties and her half-brother were all coming for the will reading as well. She didn't know what to expect, not that she was interested in acquiring her father's properties, because she knew that with her skills and intellect, within the next years, she can build up her own wealth. But then again she can't help wondering if her father was going to leave everything he had to her half-brother? He was his only biological child after all.
