Chapter 19 cute

They both came to work together the next day. Laura was the first person to run out of the car not wanting to spend another minute with him. When she got inside she went to her desk to take a breather when she saw Kate.

"Kate, what happened to your face? Laura was concerned. "Did you fight with your boyfriend?"

"What boyfriend? Sweetheart, I had the best fight of my life. Someone I've dreamed of beating the hell out of for a long time now. This is nothing compared to what happened to the other person " Kate bragged.

"Huh, I can see your handwork. Now I know the reason why you've been working out " Laura said looking at Jane with a victorious smile.

"I know right? I'm too good at this" Kate felt proud of herself. Truly she gave Jane the beating of her life even with all the makeup she was unable to hide her swollen face. Kate and Laura bust into laughter looking at her pumpkin face.

" My sweet friend lunch is on me"

"Really? The almighty Laura is willing to buy lunch for me? What happened to you did you hit your head somewhere this e?" Kate teased her.

"Laura, these files came in yesterday but Mr. Hughes was not in, please take them to him to sign" Sarah dropped the files on her desk before walking away. Laura was fluttered she didn't know what to say. She has been trying hard to avoid this tyrant.

"Ehhmm, Kate can you help me take these files to him?" Laura said giving her puppy eyes.

"Why me? Aren't you the assistant? "

" Kate please....."

"Laura I can't. How can you expect me to show up before my idol with this face?" She said pointing to her face.

"Kate, please... I owned you two lunch " Laura tried to bribe her. Kate drew her face closer to Laura's looking straight into her eyes.

"Are you hiding something from me?" Kate asked her.

"What... No way no.. nothing I'm not hiding anything"

"Then go and give him yourself that's the only way for me to believe you "

"I thought we were friends "

"I am, but I have work to do so good luck " Kate encouraged her friend.

"Oh my goodness, do I have any other choice now?"

Jason is in his office in a dreaming state thinking of what to do with his cute secretary.

Since last night during dinner Jason has been acting cocky around Laura that's why she's trying to avoid him.

LAST NIGHT.

"Why are you all cover up?" Jason asked her during dinner raising an eyebrow.

"What do you mean" Laura looked at her clothes.

"You should be wearing your other nightwear from now on "

"Why? What's wrong with this one "

"Can't you see that it's covering the perfect view ?" he said looking at her chest. That was when Laura understood where he was going and put her two hands over her chest.

"Why is your mind so dirty?"

"What? Is it a crime to tell a woman that I want to feel her boobs in my hands? I bet they will feel amazing" he said with a sinuous smirk.

"Yo... You pervert I can't believe you ". Laura was all fluttered.

"I can't believe this man. I need to get away from him before things get out of hand " She got up and was about to leave but she stopped and grabbed her plate of food before running away like a child who was being chased by a dog. Seeing her running away looking all red reminded Jason of the tomatoes she washed.

"Now isn't she the cutest thing ever? I can't wait to see where this goes" he said to himself picking his fork.

The next day Laura woke up all covered in sweat from having a nightmare about what happened the other day at the restaurant.

Pushing aside all the negative thoughts she decided to prepare for her day.

After getting ready she came out putting on black trousers and a matching suit looking like the perfect secretary but it was all looked down on by Jason who just wants to have fun teasing her.

"I never knew you stared in MEN IN BLACK"

"What?"

"You always putting on a black suit?"

"Well as your assistant I need to look presentable. By the way, isn't this the best dress code for an assistant ?" Laura asked him as they both entered the car.

"No, you look like my bodyguard. A secretary should look elegant and sexy just like Sarah and... And .. what's her name again?" He asked turning to Laura.

"Who?"

"That other girl amongst you guys ".

"You mean Jane?"

"Yes is that her name? See the problem is you don't dress like a young girl, dress your age and show more skin. I wonder what type of clothes you have in that wardrobe of yours"

"Are you insulting me?"

"Well, I'm just stating the fact"

"You are beautiful and have a lot of things to show. Okay, come over here" he urged her. Laura move over then Jason took hold of her collar and slide his hand gently to the first button and opened it. Laura was lost for words as her heart was pounding rapidly in her ears.

"What's he doing? Laura stop him" She kept screaming in her head but she couldn't do anything other than look into those beautiful eyes of his holding her gaze. And then he went for the other button Laura was startled and pushed him away.

"Relax I'm not going to take advantage of you at least not here," Jason said to her with a smirk. " Now you look like an assistant," Jason said licking his bottom lip. That one gesture alone was enough to make Laura lose her mind.

"How can he be a devil and gorgeous at the same time? Are all perverts this handsome? God those lips..."

"What? I'm handsome right?" Jason jolted her back when he noticed she was staring at him.

"Handsome? I don't think...." Laura was unable to finish her sentence when the driver announced their arrival.

"Thank God at last" No one was happier than Laura. Without wasting any more time she ran out of the car even when Jason was calling her she didn't look back until she got inside.
