Chapter 8

Soon two weeks went by quickly with not much improvement in my stats. It would also be time for one of the first event to take place.

After taking the attendance the teachers inform us about our training. We would work alongside professional heroes to get first handed experience about the jobs of heroes for one week. Each group will go to different sector and will rotate, such as social security- these types of heroes work inside of cities to ensure its safety and explorer type- those that work outside of cities. But I already knew these informations.

Soon we arrive in front of a blue circulate hole(?). It was a portal to Seoul.

"Beware if it's your first time using a portal. You may get nausea"

After the teacher's warning the student went in one by one. On the other side I could see students puking as it was there first time taking a portal, while I was fine as it was not my first time but also because <Eye> strengthen my mentality.

Once all the students recuperate from 'portal sickness' as they call it, we were told to climb on the bus that would take us to our hotel where we would stay for the week. In the bus student were asked to sit near their teammates.

Bae Jiho was the one that sat next to me and next to him was Bok Yun, while Chang Eui, Min Sookjoo and Ban Jisang sat together in front of us. The seat was arranged so that we faced each other.

"So, since we have the first two days free, do you guys have any plans?" Bok Yun asked

"How about shopping!" I want to see what Seoul have to offer!" Min Sookjoo replied cheerily.

"Oh, sound like a great idea. Do you guys want to tag along?" Bok Yun replied and tried to drag us in.

As I tried to deny the offer Bae Jiho interrupted and dragged me down alongside him.

"Sure, let's all go together"

I tried to deny but failed. Seeing my futile attempt Chang Eui smirked at me. In the end I was dragged along. However, the shopping mall was where the event was going to take place. A group of demon followers will try to abduct the students and use them as sacrifice to allow demons to enter this world. But as in all novels the protagonist will interfere with them and save everyone.

Soon we arrived at the hotel where we would be staying. After the teacher did a head count again, we were given a room. Me, Bae Jiho and Ban Jisang will stay in one room while the girls in another. After unpacking our stuffs, we met at the lobby of the hotel before we left for the mall. A lot of students had the same idea, is what one would have thought when seeing all of them going to the same destination, but I was different as I knew some intentions of these students. Some wanted to follow and watch the protagonist groups.

"Wow look at this dress, I'm sure this would look good on you Eui" Bok Yun shouted

"How did I end up here again?" I let out a sigh

"Just bear it for a while Song In" Bae Jiho tried to conform me

'Yeah, I just to bear it for a little more it should be soon'

<Are you really happy about some terrorist attack>

'Anything is better than shopping with these guys, at least for me'

Suddenly an explosion could be heard.

'Finally!'

Sry for short chapter but I will make a longer one and release a few chapters this week to make up for it if I'm free once again I apologize. we had our exam from monday to thursday for 3 week and we had to be at college at 7 am so I hope you understand. But now get ready for some action readers~
